She won't stop talking!

I have been on the phone for an HOUR with a friend who will not shut up!!!! She has not stopped talking at all. I've said maybe 20-30 words. Its all whining and complaining. Shes on speaker phone, so I keep walking away to do things.

Just say "Uh-huh" every now and again and then, if there is a pause, "I totally understand".

I do it when I'm on the phone with my dad... he tends to ramble (must be where I get it from....) I'll even catch myself doing it to him in person.... mind wandering, and the occasional "uh huh" "yea...." type deal.... oh well. He knows, he just needs someone to pretend that they are listening so he can get him rambling fill for that hour.

LOL, I used to have a friend just like that!! Could never get a word in and when her # popped up on my caller ID I cringed to even think about answering it thinking about how I wouldnt be able to get off of the phone for at least 1-2 hours!

I have a friend like that too!! She wants to talk, talk, talk. But then when I try to say something she has to go!? Hmm That's why I have dogs. They like listening to me. Well a few of them do. Big Smile

It's also nice having a kid I can use as an excuse to get off the phone. Samantha is a great actress!!
