so i've been sick a LOT this year. had the flu 3 times. had a UTI and some sort of infection (possibly pneumonia) after the last flu last week.
now i dont live very healthy and i've gotten used to it.
basically i wanna make a few changes to slowly boost my immune system. at this point i am not trying to lose weight. my weight it pretty decent.
now the thing is that i dont wanna make HUGE changes, cause then all i'm gonna do is get all excited about it for a week or two and then jst feel overwelmed and tired of it and things will be back to normal.
so right now i am slowly trying to implement the following things:
eat one piece of fruit a day (more if i feel like it, of course) -mostly i eat kiwi or tangerines, cause i like them and they're easy to eat.
have a glass of milk or one yoghurt a day
have an egg every day (now it's more like every few days, but that's ok too, i suppose)
also i am trying to get an hour or two more sleep. i am not horribly sleep deprived, just a tad short, cause i'm slow with my going to bed habits. i also just read about how sugar's really bad for the immune system. so i will be drinking water in the future. is there any other things i should watch out for with sugar? i dont really do deserts, so that's not much of an issue... what drinks are healthy? i really like gatorate. is that ok? (i havent had a chance to check it yet...)
excersice i think is covered ok. i bike to work between that and dogwalks i think i do alright for a not so sportive person.
i dont smoke, so no issues there. drink only once a week....
uhm... what else... i'm just of brainstorming... any ideas are welcome... also some EASY EASY recepies would be good, but consider i'm a bit picky with my veggies, lol...
help me out here... i tried researching, but this stuff is hard to find and hard to understand, when you do find it. i dont wanna hear stuff like, "lot's of potasium" (or is it little potasium? lol). instead talk to me like a kid: milk-good! candy-bad!
am i babbling? lol
