rwbeagles-Cleo update

we weighed her at Petsmart this past Saturday and she's at 49.5lbs from her last weigh in of 46lbs, which was on Feb 23rd.

So a 3 1/2lbs gain in 3 weeks...which is pretty reasonable I think from what I recall with the Akitas. She'd be then about 50lbs by 5 months which is actually on the lower end for female Leonbergers.

She's still at about 22 1/2" tall but I use a wall not a wicket so that's way unofficial LOL.

But she's growing well, fitting in better and better, and has lost her front baby teeth! Smile

That first picture could just melt a girl's heart. She's soooooo beautiful. Glad she's growing normally and I don't think you'll need to worry about her being too small Wink

She is so cute it hurts. How big do you think she will get? Eko is 4.5 months and was 50 lbs on Friday.... Tell me that leos grow really slowly, because I'm getting nervous!

I wouldn't worry...lol. Cleo's Momma was on the small side at around 75lbs, so she mightn't get to be HUGE. One of the reasons I ended up with a female, and this female in particular, was the smaller size relative to the males...for first timers the size is more mangeable.

I don't know how large the lines are in him but that is pretty big, we don't know how old Bugsy was exactly but he was probably about 55lbs at 4.5 months and he is a lean 105lbs, been that since he was about 20 mos old. He added about 8lbs a month until he was about 11 months old and then was stable for ages until he added the last 10 lbs after 1.5yrs.
