Teddy's not the only office dog

Teddy came to work with me today, and has been quietly and patiently sitting in my office all day.

Anyway, as I'm perusing this forum, I hear a loud "bark" out in the hall.  Apparently one of the tenured-faculty decided to bring her lab puppy in to work.  So Teddy's not the only one, but now he's staring longingly at the door, wanting to play with the dog he just heard.

    Hehe.

    Any other office dogs here?

Three of my five dogs go with me to work daily.  Bevo generally stays in the reception area, & plays meet & greet with clients coming in & out.  Shooter & Schatzi go over to day care most days.  There are occasions where they stay in the reception area as well.

Dogs aren't allowed in our office on a regular basis, but sometimes somewone who just got a puppy will bring the pup in and take him around for just a little while.  One woman just got a 4-month old sheltie and she's come for short visits twice this week.  The puppy, Secret, is a little timid, but sweet and soooooo adorable!  It's soooo fun to have a puppy at the office!  We don't get any work done when she's there, though -- the lure of the puppy is too strong and we all want to play with her.

Ace came to my old office a couple of times, but he didn't make a good office dog.  He wanted to play with everyone and so he spent a lot of time running around trying to get people to pay attention to him.   And when people came into the office, he would announce that to us with an alert bark.

Yep more office dogs here!  Bogey comes to work with me 4 times a week (10 hr shifts). Well actually its home/office. I work in a transitional home for the "mentally ill that are homeless".  He's been coming with me for over a year.  The clients love him and look forward to visiting with him!  Boy I sure miss him tonight, couldn't bring him due to car problems!

Lex comes to work with me everyday too. My husband and I have a newspaper route we drive. Its not an office exactly but I am glad I can take him with me. He also accompanies me to school twice a week[:D]

We have Jamie the 7 year old Belgian Tervuren and Pheonix the 6 month old Belgian Malinois puppy here today! My coworker brings them to work on the slower days. They stay in a kennel by her desk or in kennels in the car (weather permitting) so they can get used to hanging out in there during trials. They are both too cute! I keep a bag of Blue Dog Bakery treats in my desk just for them so they *really* like me!

we have a permanent office resident cat - but she allows other animals in to visit from time to time - several of our clients have dogs & they know to come here for pets, kisses & treats
