I thought I should let you all know

Ella left about 15 minutes ago for her surgery.  My father-in-law took her in because he uses our vet, too, and she was scheduled too early for me to get her there myself because I have to get the boys to school.  She'll be fine and we're going to go pick her up after 3 pm. I wrote out instruction/info for the vet since I'm not 100% sure who is going to be handling her today. I left info about pre-op benadryl and her animal aggression and told them that it will stress her out to be kenneled around other dogs. They'll probably put her in the office with them while she wakes up. That's what they did when she got her teeth cleaned and her mole removed. I left them my cell number and told them to call after the surgery.

I'm a freakin' spaz about my dog.  hahaha.

 Rebecca, I'm glad you caught this early on.  If there's anything I can do to help, other than the warm healing Pharaoh vibes, let me know.

Max has a couple of "warts" on her. I plan to have the vet check them at her appointment on Wed, I am pretty sure that is all they are. It does make you "worry".

How's Miss Bella Ella doing???  Is she home??

 We just got home about half an hour ago.

She's back. And fine. Whiny and grumbly, but fine. She won't take any ice or water. She just wants her ball and to be near us. I don't want to give her any pain medication until she gets at least some water into her tummy. She's laying on her bed with her ball in her mouth and she is trying to hold her head up and her eyes open, but she'll be failing at that soon.

 Awww!  Poor Ella.  Rest pretty girl!  I'm glad everything went well.  Sending some more vibes for a speedy recovery.  Hope the ball helps her feel better.

 She keeps whining and grumbling, I know she's in pain.  She would NOT take water or ice, but I had froze a kong stuff with pieces of raw lamb steak that I had cut up.  I gave it to her because she needs something in her tummy so that I can give her half a Rimadyl for the pain.  She's interested in the kong, that's for sure.  But she's whining as she works on it.
