    Mindless Chatter - Sat

Oh my, Neiko and Lily are in rare form this morning. Racing around the house, up and down the hall way, underneath the kitchen table, through the living room, etc. barking and growling and wrestling. I'm glad I'm in the safety of the computer room!

It's not supposed to be as warm as it was yesterday but it looks like we'll still have sunshine. I love sunshine! I think I'll take the dogs on a good hike today. Someplace we haven't gone before.

I do need to clean though - some time this weekend.

I have to pick up a bday gift for my 7 yr old niece too. Maybe those shoes with roller skate things in them - even though I hate those things personally. The kids seem to love them.

Well no dog show for me Sad. The friend I was gonna go with expected me to pay for everything. Gas, food, parking, her way in. I was willing to pay for gas and parking since I have no way up there with our cars here messed up. I think I was being reasonable on offering paying for gas given the price of gas these days.

I just dont have the money to pay for all my stuff and her stuff after the incident with Jayde and stupid chickens.

My other friend I could have went with had to work today. But the dog show is going on tomorrow too so maybe me and her can go then. Will a lot of stuff still be going on the last day of the show?

I think so.  The multi-day shows here have an entire dog show each day.  I think a different local club hosts each day.  I've gone on Sundays before and watched all the breed rings, then the groups, and best in show.  There weren't as many vendors or sporting events on the second day, but as far as conformation there was still plenty to see.  It was nice being a spectator b/c a lot of people who didn't make it to the group left so there were less crowds but you could still watch the show to the end.

ack! It's allergy season atchoo! We have 15 longleaf pines in our yard and they have burst into bloom (and there are just tons in the neighborhood.  The world will be a yellow green in the next few days.  My nose and eyes are a mess and I'm having to really watch my asthma.  As much as I love NC, the allergy season is about 10 months long and as someone who had mild allergies all my life I am amazed at how bad they are here, from the asthma (diagnosed here) to major skin itchies.  bleh

watching the ACC tournament I love college basketball - go UNC!

desktop pc still randomly blowing up, can't trace the issue and hate to bring it in to someone, I could probably replace the motherboard and HD for the cost of getting it diagnosed and 1 hour labor.  Crazy.  Don't want to lose thousands of dollars of software though - Super Angry

ah well other than that just hanging, suppose to rain later yea!

Ugh, went to do a booth for work at an adopt-a-thon. Our easy-up tent is SO GHETTO. The poles are broken, the fabric is ripped, it just needs to be replaced. They must just be paying me too much (yeah right!). It's super-windy and hothothot here too. I think I sweated an entire person.

Yesterday and today, we've been doing some major cleaning, and I really mean major. We were cleaning in one room. and there must be at least 20 trash bags in there. I'm ready to hurt my dad over this, because we said we weren't going to mention it to my mom, or pick on her about it. She's got enough crap to deal with, so we were just going to do it. Of course he was complaining about the mess beside her bed tonight. He also told me tonight that he didn't care if I came to see my mom or not, and would be happy if I stayed home and got some cleaning done. First, I care if I go or not, especially because I did not go yesterday, and tomorrow may be tough to get there. Second, I'm not doing this for him. Last issue I am pissed off about, is that I told him that we have more trash than we can put out on Monday, even if we do put some at the neighbors. He told me that maybe I should worry about the rooms we actually live in (I've been cleaning what is really a storage room). I started there because we have had mice in the house. They come in there, eat the food stored there, and get up to the kitchen. I also discovered some other type of bugs down there while cleaning. That space is also necessary to store some of the things that are cluttering up the rooms we actually live in, but yeah, the bugs and mice thing are major issues. Oh yeah, my dad doesn't know what a trash bag is. I told him to get some, and he came home with lawn and leaf bags. Then he left one full of trash where the dogs could get it. Luckily, I saw it before they did. I'm going to hurt him if I don't get out of here.
