That is AWESOME, Billy. The really *good* schools -- the ones on the tip of everyone's tongue across the US (maybe not all known for the same type of things but each known for their 'good' things) teach not just basic vet medicine, but DIAGNOSTICS.
Again and again, my husband and I are struck that often the biggest difference in how good a vet is, boils simply down to how good their diagnostic skills are. That's the kind of thing that is just so dependant on being taught in a GOOD school.
And man, the people she will get to hear and learn from!! Wow.
SOME day in my wildest dreams I'm going to get to go to their Dog Owners & Breeders Symposium. U FL's is in July and is only one day. But Purdues is in October and is 3-4 days and SOMEDAY I'm gonna go!!! *grin*
You should be proud .. and honestly, SHE should be pretty darned proud and grateful that you'd allow her to apply somewhere like that (man, my folks wouldn't have!)
