Bad weather moving in..animals react ..in different ways(snownose)

Silly doggies rain is fun when its warm out! 

What kind of weather?? we just showed last weekend in in Nashville Tn, you can picture my surprise when after being there for a day and a half we had heavy rain that turned in to Snow!! We got over 5 inches my ridgebacks were not all amused !! It was funny.  The older two, Jasmine 12.75 yrs and Kota 8.5 yrs had been in the snow before. But Caine,  20 months and Zion just turned 1 year were befuddled !!  We had a blast teaching them about the snow. The look on the pups face when he tinkled and it sent up steam had me roaring with laughter. Caine tried to figure out how to walk with out touching the cold wet stuff. By the end of the day everyone was acclimated and having fun. They tried to catch the snow balls we tossed up in the air but since it was a heavy powder they would explode in thier mouths.  I had promised the 5 grandkids a special surprise, which can be anything from a small toy to gum. But this time I filled large disposible coffee cups with snow and stuck them in our freezer. On returning home I used Root beer snow cone syrup and they had the best treat !! They giggled the whole way through.  I hope you all stay safe in your bad weather,  please check in every now and then so all of us know you are okay   BTW your fur kids are really very cute!!

Thank you guys....actually, we were not supposed to get any rain....must have been a stray shower.......and in reference to grass......I was complaining last summer.....I hate to do lawn work, but now, am actually looking forward to this......
