    My Vote Doesnt Count?

what do you guys think about the revoting theyre wanting to do in FL and.. Mich. i think?

i'm sitting here listening to my mom raise holy hell over the phone to every tom *** and harry in local office so i'm wondering how others feel about it.

I have heard that the re-votes are at the request of Obama. In our election, we only had one choice - Hillary or "other". To me that is not a fair election, but as they explained it on the radio, Obama requested to not be on our ballot. Now he wants a redo.

I do not know how true this is. It could just be political agenda by one party to slam the other

However, I think it is a huge waste of time and money. MI politicians are a disgrace.

Clinton's win doesn't count b/c our MI vote was not official anyway.  It was against the party's regulations, hence why most of the candidates were not on the ballot.  Therefore, it's not really a re-vote, but a vote vote, if that makes sense.  It won't take the place of the original vote b/c that never counted for anything, for the Dems at least.  Since MI is a swing state I think a legit democratic primary could be valuable, but at this point I don't know if the state can afford it.

If the party wants a revote, then they should pay for it.  Cut the state a check and then do the revote.  Lord knows these parties have MILLIONS to spend on advertising, they can fork some over for those states that can't afford it.

    I think that's a great idea.

I agree but I don't know if the party is keen on paying for it since the state defied them in the first place.

I think that most MI folks agree with that. With the way our state budget is right now we shouldn't be paying for a re-vote. It should come out of the candidates pocket.

If you really think that your vote counts in FL or anywhere else that uses electronic voting, you need to watch this.

Written ballots are more time consuming, but we need to get away from electronic voting machines, there's too much fraud.

So how did Hilary "win" Florida (i know it does't count) if the other party running was 'other"?
