The front passenger side fender on my car has been hanging loose for about 3 months. Somebody probably dinged it in a parking lot. I know body work is very expensive so I decided I'd either ignore it or maybe go to Walgreens for some of that "as seen on TV" putty and whack it back into place myself. Then a neighbor told me I really should get it fixed because if the entire fender fell off it would cost a heck of a lot more in the long run. So I decided to bite the bullet and I asked a friend who owns an automotive shop (he doesn't do body work) if he could recommend a place to take it. He did ... and the cost for having it fixed? A whopping $25 - if I had known it was only going to cost $25 I would have had it fixed a long time ago.
I was really thinking I was going to get charged at least a couple of hundred, if not more.
