Ana is coming home!!!

I did post this in my original thread, but gosh, I'm soooo excited.

In a nutshell, niece has been trying to adopt a baby girl from Guatamala. Ana is almost 10 months old. Because of corruption in that country, there have been many delays in the issuance of the birth certificate making her officially a family member. The agency refuses to pay bribes so many, many families are still waiting to bring their children home. Ana's case has been under review and a decision was to be reached this week. They took their sweet time, but today Jen got word that Ana is now officially THEIRS!

They will travel to bring her home during Spring break. They have to go to the Embassy to get her Visa and then this sweet little girl can come home at long last!

My thanks to everyone who has kept their family in thought and prayer. Please keep the good thoughts coming until this child is HOME where she belongs!

Oh, tell them congratulations!! And what a beautiful name! Maybe their lives be filled with the joy and fulfillment that only a child (and a little girl!) can bring!

The birth mom named her Jennifer Gizelle in honor of my niece. But she has been Ana to Jen since her birth.

Ana has a 7 year old brother and a 5 year old sister waiting for her to come home too. I'm so thrilled for the family!

This really has been a good day! My RV is running again.....Ana is coming home......next up is either gonna be a great job for hubby or a winning lotto ticket!

I'm so happy for you and your family. We brought our son home from Guatemala last July when he was 11 mos. old. We, too, had lots of delays and found many parts of the process frustrating. He's now 18 mos., settled in wonderfully, LOVES the dogs, and we can't imagine life without him. It's been a long hard wait, but I can guarantee you all will reach a time when you don't remember the wait at all. It seems like he's been here forever and all of that never happened.

Again...I am thrilled for all of you!

Another answer to prayer. (Glenda - take note - there is NO 'family limit' on answers to prayer!!! They can 'strike' near and dear again and again as prayers are answered! *grin*)
