Alright, so how do I arrange the "big meeting"?

• Alright, so how do I arrange the "big meeting"? Liz Posted : 3/6/2006 6:15:14 PM Here's the deal - the rescue is about 2.5 hours from my house.  By the time I get there, pick up Cole, sign whatever paperwork is necessary, (and of course love on him and play for a bit) and get home it will be WAAAY too long for Lenny to be stuck in the house.  I was going to bring him with me, but I don't know if that's a good idea or logistical nightmare.   Good points:  Lenny gets a ride the boys meet on neutral territory Cole isn't totally traumatized by a long drive alone from the litter   Issues: Puppy freakout Lenny freakout various screaming and whining on the way home   I need advice and ideas!  I have a crate for transport that fits Lenny and possibly Cole together, and I have a seatbelt/towel for Lenny if they can't ride together.  Eek!  Help! I think taking him with you could turn out either way, really good or really bad. [:'(]  I'm done by 2, and my husband has a one-hour lunch break that he can take from 12-1, so depending on when you were planning on leaving, we could work it that you dropped Lenny off and we crated him (we have an extra crate, but it's Roscoe-sized) for no more than an hour.    So, if you're interested e-mail/pm me and we can work something out.    Lenny pictures in exchange for a Cole first-look exclusive is a bargain!
