quick question - cut on upper pad????

No idea how but Bugsy has a pretty big cut on his front  upper pad - it is not bleeding terribly but there is a piece hanging.  He is not too concerned, I wiped it with a wet paper towel and it is nearly stopped bleeding

Should I wrap it?  If so with what?

What I would do: I'd pour some hydrogen peroxide in there to clean it real good, then blob some triple antibiotic ointment on it and wrap it lightly with some vet wrap. Tonight, I'd unwrap it and if he's not bothering it, just let it go and keep an eye on it. Vet wrap is indispensable! If you don't have any, use a piece of a clean cloth and wound tape (the kind that holds gauze on) Don't wrap it to tight around his leg, though.

Thanks he acted like he couldn't use his leg when I wrapped it and wouldn't let it be so I unwrapped it for now.  I will check it out and wrap it later when he crashes - BTW as soon as I took the wrap off he was fun and games again.  It does look bad though

I think making sure it's clean is more important than wrapping it. Infection is the concern.
