For fun: What would your dog do...

    Inspired by another thread...

What would be the first things your dog(s) would do if s/he or they grew opposable thumbs?

Greet me at the door with her halter already on and leash attached ;) WALKIES!! WALKIESWALKIESNOWNOWNOW!!

Climb that tree and finally catch that little squirel.

Definitely one of two things: 1.) To open the sealed container of her bully sticks and gorge until she puked, or 2.) Open the bunnies' x-pen and release them for "playtime".  I'd prefer the first one. Stick out tongue

Pepper: eat all the food in the house, vomit it back up then eat it again

Kota: escape from the house by opening doors and then come to find me, get distracted along the way and wander around till I found him or some nice person took him home

Tasha: escape from the house by opening doors and then come to find me.  If she got out with kota, she'd stay with him, otherwise she might get distracted but her search would always continue till she found me.

Shadow: escape from the house by opening doors and then proceed to hunt down all the bunnies near our house.

Layla - Open the fridge and eat everything inside, then open the front door and run accross the street to play with Smokey, the female neighbor  Beagle that she adores!!!!!

Abbie - Probably do the dishes and laundry to help me out (she's always by my side) - then she'd join Layla at the fridge!!!

grab my credit card statement, go online and order $80,000+ of stuffed toys for overnight delivery...

Grady would open the front door & proceed to run amok around the neighborhood, killing all the small furries that left a scent trail.

Aspen would TRY to open the fridge but only be able to get to the freezer (it's on the bottom), scratch his head because it doesn't smell as good as the upper part, get discouraged & go find his bed & go back to sleep.

What would be the first things your dog(s) would do if s/he or they grew opposable thumbs?

Jaia - Teach B'asia to throw the frisbee

B'asia - Open the gate and go hunting

Mia - Use a shovel to dig instead of her paws (much more efficient)

Cara - Refrigerator, Here I come! LOL

He'd throw his own ball. He'd also help himself to a little cheese every now and then.

Rory would defintly let herself out of the house, run right across the street and flirt with the neighbor dogs. She has gotten out twice and she bypasses the cats AND running amock just to run the neighbors fenceline and taunt the dogs inside the yard liek ha ha look at me, I'm free!

Primo is easy and lazy, he'd just open my bedroom door, pull back the covers on my bed and get inside to sleep all day!

oh dear he's pretty good without them -

probably go on walks around the neighborhood by himself and feed himself when he got hungry (which might include his kibble, a little canned tripe and rooting through the fridge)

Teddi: Finally able to open the front door that he's been trying to open on his own for the past month now.

Maggie: Open my underwear drawer and get all the underwear out and chew holes in them!

Woobie would throw his own ball and then click himself silly.  He'd use the phone to call his doggy friends and say "It's been too long boys, party at Mom's house!!!"

Indie would open all the cabinets, cans, packages, frig, freezer, and eat himself into oblivion!

They'd both likely open the doors and free themselves for lots of roaming and exploring!

Shadow would probably figure out how to open the gate on the south side of the house to go a-wandering. Either that, or he would learn to type and open his own i-dog account.

    ETA:

He might learn to open the treats can, click the clicker, and give himself a treat.
