Mindless Chatter - Wed

I am a cranky pants right now.  I am so stressed out from driving and red lights and idiot people.

But luckily my tea here is soooo goood.

Salem has turned barky since we brought Cheza home as well. He doesn't even bark at anything, he just barks. I hate barking. I mean 1 or 2 barks when someone comes to the door is fine, but more then that and it makes me mad. He has also been really bad about coming when I call him from the yard lately. He is just being plain bratty. He knows better. I guess I will need to put him on a leash until he decides to remember his recall.

I'm planning 2 trips with the dogs this year. In August I'm going to bring them both to the adirondacks. We are going to rent a cabin right on the water with hiking trails right out the front door. I'm excited about it! We brought Salem last year and had a great time. I'm sure Cheza will like it as well.

I'm also going to bring both dogs to Ocean City for 2 nights Easter weekend. This should get Cheza a little more used to traveling. The Ocean is a 4 hour drive, and the adirondacks are about 9 hours, so it should be a good stepping stone for her. Ocean City doesn't allow dogs on the beach in the on season so I like to get them up there a few times in the off season to swim. Cheza has never seen the ocean before.

I'm so pumped, I finally found someone local who will give Kenya a herding instinct test for free and offers herding lessons!

Bugsy started barking a few months ago no idea why but he's quit again.  Back to being Gary Cooper. May be Neiko and Salem are just being more on guard to protect the new dog?  IDK remember I'm an idiot

DH and I had an argument last night - just stupid stuff, he is soooo cranky bleh!

Have oodles to do again and just want to sleep

I think I might be getting a cold. My throat is starting to seem sore. YUCK (darn airplane). I am going to try hard to fight it.

I am really cold today too, but that is probably because it is cold out! (I miss 70's temperatures) We walked the dogs last night the wind had picked up it was brutal. We cut the walk short but boy my girls need to walk. Teddi was out of control. COME ON SPRING GET HERE!!

I have a boring staff meeting today. They are only scheduling it for 90 min instead of 2 hours WOO HOO (hear the irony) we get a break!

Must get a mocha before the meeting.

Oh I only gained back 2 pounds of the weight I lost before vacation and I am still 10 pounds lighter than I was!! That is good incentive for me to keep going.
 

My best friend is coming over and we're going to bundle up and take the dogs for a walk. Brrrrr.

I haven't slept well the last couple nights and that's highly unusual for me. As soon as I lay down to sleep, my mind starts racing and I feel agitated, almost like a panic attack. Strange and not fun.

I have to get board mtg stuff put together and mailed out this week, but as usual, no one has gotten me any of the materials. I always tell them I need it by Thurs even tho Friday is my deadline to mail it out. Somehow they know this, so they usually get it to me Friday morning and them I'm in major rush mode

I didn't have anything to bring for lunch today, so I'm going to splurge and get fast food after I go to the gym - yay!!

It's chilly here...50's?? Brrr! I can't live like this! I think I need to wear actual sneakers today. Bleh.

Today's going alright.  Okay, maybe not so much.  DH and I are meeting with our mortgage broker tomorrow morning, and I'm trying to compile all the necessary paperwork.  But I'm a compulsive worrier, so I'm absolutely sick to my stomach over it.  Which is dumb, because we've already gotten approved for the houses that we're interested in.  But I get worked up so easily, even over good things.  I just have to remember, we're going to have a house!  With a backyard for Honor, room to play, and the possibility of adding another dog to our family!  No more rent, loud neighbors, or communal washing machines!  Woohoo! 

Tonights walk is so not going to be fun... for me at least! The wind is the killer up here. Not too bad, then it blows and you feel like you are living in Alaska or something! Ok... so maybe it's not THAT bad.... but still! Its Florida!

Poor little Polly got spayed this morning, she's still not feeling so well. I'm sure this nasty weather isn't helping any!
