We're supposed to have another huge storm come in tomorrow night, with wind gusts up to 70 MPH.

Oh Geez - not another high wind storm again! Tongue Tied I hope the power stays on this time - there's nothing quite like having to take a shower and do your hair and make-up by candlelight. Standing right by the window doesn't help much when it's stormy and dark outside.

Yikes, Sarah, does the son's group home not have some sort of check in system?  Sounds like maybe they should!  Has his story been on the news yet?  If not, maybe she should call a few and get the word out.  I'm going to guess he's too old for an Amber Alert?

Oh, and what's Supper Club?  I could use a belly laugh or two right now.

Here ya go Joyce - You might want to go buy some battery operated lanterns Lightning

Sacramento Valley and Sierra residents should prepare for another high-intensity storm this weekend that will bring strong winds along with heavy rain and snow.

Unlike the Jan. 4 storm, when wind gusts topped 80 mph and caused long power outages, this new storm won't be quite as powerful but it may last longer.

Forecasters say residents should plan for gusts above 50 mph for nearly a 24-hour period starting at 1 p.m. Saturday, with peak winds as high as 70 mph. The Valley could see as much as 2 inches of rain by Sunday night, while Sierra passes could see more than 2 feet of snow. ';); //-->

"The whole weekend's a washout," said Elyssa Lynn, senior meteorologist at the state Department of Water Resources. "Power outages are a possibility for that extended period of time. Learn your lesson from that storm in early January."  The National Weather Service on Thursday issued a high wind watch and a winter storm watch covering nearly the entire weekend.

He is in his 20's so too old for an Amber Alert.  I know they filed a police report though and the police are investigating a few leads and suspicious things having to do with one of his friends.  I think the group home has a curfew and they either get back by the curfew or they don't.  The mom is in touch with the lady who runs the home and she has agreed to keep his spot as long as while he is there he is following the rules and if he doesn't get back by the curfew then he doesn't necessarily get to come back in that night.  He often stays at friends houses but he always calls his mom.  It hasn't been on the news and I will be suprised if it is but I will mention it to her.  The whole thing is becoming more and more fishy though.  It is sad really and there is still no word today.  My boss and I are both fearing the worst for her son.

Supper Club is this group of 12 girls that get together every month.  We take turns hosting and switch which part of the meal we bring each month.  I went to high school and elementary school with some of the girls and most of the others are married to people we went to school with.  We always have a really great time!

Did you guys here about the police officer that got killed here in DFW while escorting Hillary Clinton here?  He was part of the motorcade they had for her and hit a curb which made him hit a wall and then threw him off and killed him.  So sad...

Sarah - that seems really scary - I hope your coworker hears from him soon and that he is safe.

Happy Birthdays and Anniversaries to all applicable.

I hate trying to update billing information.  The "Live Chat" rep was all recorded and stupid.... so I called, and got someone clearly not in the US who did most of the same scripted responses, too.  NO, I do not want to pay with my credit card over the phone.  I want your online system to accept my payment w/out saying it exceeds the balance - when it does NOT.  Jimminey crickets! Now I am peeved.  Next month you won't even get a payment because I will cancel my service over this crap!!!  Sorry, vent over.

I don't want to train Jada right now, but I need to.  Tomorrow we will be at the Accenture golf tournament (BF's boss sponsors it and gave him tickets), and then Sunday is the Rodeo, so who knows how much daylight I will have w/Jada over the weekend. It looks like rain any minute.

Well I am just sitting here being bored.

Oh yeah. And I am sick and tired of being SICK!!

I wish I had a doctor and money. Jayde kinda killed me on the money. Oh well at least she is better.

Is it summer yet?! Please say yes.

Today sucked, big time. I made a mondo mistake at work, and got in b-i-g trouble. Then I was hiding in with the little dogs, and Pirate had a pretty bad seizure. He felt pretty crappy after that, and I felt bad.

I rewarded myself with Panda Express. Mmm. But they forgot my soy sauce, darn it.
