Andy my Airedale(the wanna-be Dane)

My Vet is constantly amazed at his wellness exam(which I do bi-anually) as Andy will be 16 yrs. young in April. He has no medical issues at all, excepting a benign Lipoma on his inner thigh which doesn't cause him any problems. His eyesight is a bit waning, and I claim he has occasional "selective hearing". His teeth never need cleaning(vet checks), and other than a bit of wearing of his teeth...he is in perfect health! I am amazed myself every year he blesses me with yet another year of his always loving, at times clowning, wonderful self!

KUDOS to both you & andy!!!!! wow! he doesnt look a day over 4:) hmm, there's that selective hearing comment....my dogs have the same "problem" and there mere infants next to good old andy boy:) he looks fab!

Oh no, you sure know how to make a girl cry! What a gorgeous boy!

I'm actually glad there aren't that many Airedales running around because everytime I see one, I get choked up for my buddy Rush who passed of bloat at 10. They are a handful but such fun! And such clowns! And Rush was the greatest watchdog while being super with my kids and their friends. A perfect combination. And low-shedding which is what we needed for my asthmatic/allergic son.

I heart Airedales!!!!!!!!!

OMG NO!!!!

Hey! Andy doesn't even show any signs of grey in his beard! What a youthful boy! Kudos to you for having such a healthy senior when so few even make it to that age! Can you tell me about his pedigree? I got Rush from Maripe Woolridge at Terrydale HK in North Carolina, his dad was Felix.
