Vacation Pics (mrstjohnson)

We got back from Palm Springs/Vegas last Thursday. We had an amazing time. We left Riley with my parents in Palm Springs and went to Vegas for a couple of days, then headed back to CA for a couple of days.

The weather in Palm Springs was sunny and 80 and sunny and 70 in Vegas. Riley had a blast with her Nana and Bompa, and I DH had a wonderful two days alone (plus we two straight flushes in poker in Vegas!!)!

We took the Arial Tram up the side of a mountain. I was so scared to go, but it was actually really great. Much smoother a ride than I had imagined. While it was 80- degrees by the pool, there was a ton of snow on the mountain top...

WOW! You WENT on that tram ride - the one you posted about that you were so scared about? GOOD FOR YOU! And it must have been worth it. The pictures are jaw droppingly stunning.

The three of you look so happy together and Riley has a gorgeous big smile Smile

Yep, I went. I was determined to not let my fear keep me from seeing the view from up there and it was worth it, The only bad thing was Riley's ears popping on the way down really bothered her. I think it was just too much in one day since we flew in that morning, her ears had popped twice on the flight and twice on the ride...poor thing.

The most fun was watching Riley in the pool. She loved it and didn't want to get out, but I was worried about her getting too much sun so we only had her in there for short periods at a time.

I can't believe how fast that little Riley is growing! She looks like such a happy sweet little girl! Glad you enjoyed your vacation.

Wow, wonderful pictures, you have such a beautiful family! Riley is the spitting image of her Daddy!!! Thanks for sharing these, you look great too!

No!! Surprise Did this happen last night? I have been dying with a horrific cold since we got back and pretty much going to bed around 7:30 every night with Riley. DH didn't say anything to me this morning. All I know is they beat the Avs last night, which they badly needed! What happened??

Yes...IMO dirty elbows up hit from LaPerriere. He looked bad for a second...woozy...the ref had to come hold him up then Hank came and helped him off. I thought concussion for sure but then they said the dreaded word KNEE...right knee. Coach says he wasn't that concerned so hope he's right.

On the upside? Downey straight WHOOPED the heinie of one LaDerriere and went after him again later.

They say Big Mac has been scoring hat tricks in the minors...maybe it's time to bring the Ol' Guard Dog back!

Man, I can't believe I missed that game. I have just not been able to stay up! Then I wake up at 1:00 am and can't sleep from all of the nose blowing and coughing.
