Happy Family Day!

To my fellow Canadians(I think its Canada wide, maybe just Ontario). What are you doing for your first ever PAID Family Day?

I'm staying home, and BF is working for Double Time and a half which is customary if you work any stat. We do Family Night every Friday or Saturday so I don't really feel too bad about not doing much today.

We're supposed to have President's Day today Jano :( but I still have class!!

That's why Canada had to make up a holiday lol because the USA has it off lol

President's Day is 'Family Day' for us...G works in the financial world and since the NASDAQ is closed, he's off. He's sleeping right now, and I wish that were part of family day for the rest of the family, too...but baby and toddler definitely don't agree. :oP

My family in Manitoba is enjoying Louis Riel Day, my family in Ontario is enjoying Family Day and my Mum in Nova Scotia is celebrating...nothing.

I'm sitting at my desk, working harder and with more stress that most days, wishing I were...well...anywhere in Canada.

And a Happy Family Day to you too! It is just in Ontario not country wide - that's why you will have mail delivered today. It is a little freaky having the 1st long weekend of the year in February. Long weekends are suppose to be for sucking back beer, swatting insects and getting a bit of colour on the 'chicken skin' - in Canada at least! LOL
