I don't watch the show but found this and wanted to share...thought it might be of interest! One of the contestants had "another life" where they already had a contract/album...

I usually do watch the show. I have not paid as close attention this year but I know who this is. This is her second attempt at the show. She had "visa" issues last year. It will be interesting to see what happens to her now, I also wonder if the show "knew" and if they didn't what they will do. They have removed people in the past. But like all reality shows it is probably rigged.

I think the rule is that they can't have a current record contract. Here's a clip of one of the final 24, singing on the Jenny Jones show years ago.

I'm an Idol Freak. I like Carly all right, but she's not my favorite by any means. But David is one of my favorites! Embarrassed

I wonder about the record deal. Surely they knew about it. I actually don't think it's right for her to be in the competition but I don't know the rules. I don't think David singing on Jenny Jones should matter though. Strange...
