Found another cat for Madison (Bullymom)

Well, Madison said that she wants another cat.  When I took Rocky to the E-Vet on Saturday, they had the cutest little kitten up there for adoption.  He is 4-5 months old, tested negative for leukemia and aids, has had all shots, and he's already fixed!  His adoption fee is $60.  I think that's cheap considering it costs a small fortune to get animals tested, vaccinated, and fixed.  His name is Sprout but I think Madison is going to change it!  I am going to pick him up in a few minutes.  On the plus side, she hasn't mentioned Skittles all day.  I think that she has accepted that he's gone.  Wish me luck on the new guy!  I'll post some pictures of him later!

Aww! Good luck! I remember when I was little and my first cat (Mr.Kitty...very original) died. My parents told me he went to went to Hollywood and that all the commercials on TV with a gray cat in it was him. I would flip out everytime I saw one!! They finally took me to a shelter and I got the last gray cat there. His name was Zak, and I had him for twelve years. I'm sure she'll love him and I'm sorry to hear Skittles is gone.

Good luck!  Hopefully Sprout integrates well into your home!

We're back!  Sprout was an instant hit with Madison!  He's a playful little guy!  He does sneak attacks, he'll wait until you turn your back, then he will attack!  It's so funny!  He's in Madison's room, checking things out right now but he seems very calm considering he spent the past few months in a cage.  He did go crazy when he first got out of the cage but has mellowed since.  I am keeping the dogs away for now, letting them sniff the carrier and try to get used to the new cat smell!
