That poor guy. Not only did she say know, but he's out all that money.

I just got off the phone with my sister, who made her humorous phone call of the day. She wanted to talk to my mom, though I have no idea why, but I was able to help her. She asked if I might know the cause of her, what she deemed  excessive, flatulence. Yup, that's what she called for. Being the genius that I am, I got on webmd, typed it in, and read her the list of causes.  We concluded that the most likely cause is the new sugar free gum she's been chewing, sometimes instead of lunch. Seriously though, she's the nurse, not me!

Sheesh!  What a bunch of light weights!  I get the coffee started before I hit the bathroom in the morning and I suck that stuff down like crazy.  I never, ever eat until I've been awake for a few hours.

But, wow, did I ever eat today!  Spent 5.5 hours outside shoveling and dang near starved!  Came in to defrost and eat after the first 3 hours, and stayed in for a couple hours to warm back up, then went back to it.  OMG!  I ache.  Every muscle I own is complaining!  I had a piece of leftover french toast...the nice fat kind coated in corn flake crumbs and crushed pecans, then I ate an entire pot pie for lunch and THREE pieces of pizza and half an order of breadsticks for dinner.  I don't want to even know how many calories I sucked in today!  If I was burning all those calories trying to stay warm, it didn't work very well!  Dang near FROZE!

But, the good news is that the deck is ALMOST done.  All but the end nearest the stairs is finished and that is cleared down to the hard pack.  The top foot or so was all powder.  The front yard looks like someone blew up an igloo!  DS was cutting huge chunks of the hard stuff, about 2 foot deep and then tossing them over the side of the deck.  Danged if they didn't stay in one giant piece when they landed!  I got the stairs cleared off at both ends, including the one that still has hard pack, and even shoveled a nice little walkway to the door of the RV.

I think a caramel latte and some triple chocolate ice cream might help the sore muscles.......

That's me!  My whole family's like that.  I usually have 3 cups of coffee in the mornings, 1 in the afternoon, and sometimes decaf in the evening.

Today was pretty fun.  I got a lot of stuff done at work, which always makes me happy.  And Honor just got her new EasyWalk in (the last one had an...accident), so I'm hoping it'll help us in the effort to knock her new habit of pulling.  Cheers to long, slow walks!

Thats IT Lisa??  Gosh, I've got a commercial Bunn and I normally have polished off the first pot before anyone else is even out of bed!  This bitter cold weather I tend to drink coffee all day and the only reason I switch to decaf at night is because DH can't handle the full test stuff after dinner.  Drinking too much of the stuff here lately and I need to cut back.  Especially when I also typically have a latte or two during the day.

LOL!  Your coffee habits sound like my mom's.  She'll easily drink two pots of coffee in a day, and recently bought the style of coffee pot that keeps it fresh all day long...it fills your cup like a vending machine would.  She LOVES it. Smile

I used to drink more, but I was diagnosed with a heart condition a couple of years ago.  My doctor's not fond of the amount of caffeine I drink now, much less my excessive habits from before (especially since I've been supplementing my lack of coffee with black and green teas).  *sigh* It's an addiction.

At least DH isn't a hard-core caffeine person though.  One Mountain Dew jazzes him up just fine, lol.

I do need to cut back.  I've been drinking wayyy too much coffee lately.  I think one Mountain Dew would put me into orbit though!  The color of the stuff was always a bit off putting to me....and when we did our MA to CA move, we discovered that the reason so many Mountain Dew bottles were on the ground in rest areas is that truck drivers use them as portable urinals.  Yuck.  I can't even look at a bottle of the stuff these days without having a vision of some big bruiser roaring down the highway in a big rig and stuffing his, erm, member into a pop bottle to relieve himself!
