    Mindless Chatter - Wed

The dogs REALLY need some exercise. All 3 of them are very antsy. I think that it's supposed to be a little warmer today so I'll try to get them to the dog park. Dakota will get her own walk.

I forgot that I put laundry in the wash a couple days ago - I'm scared to open up the washing machine now..ugh!

I taught lily to touch last night. It was very cute. She's really dainty about it.

I am in a dilemma, I am hungry (yet again) do I want to brave the cold walk to get me a muffin and energy drink?  I think I do...

I had the WORST dreams last night.  I am so tired this morning.  One dream there were cats opening the windows of my house and climbing through and I was pushing them out and they were scratching and biting me.  This went on for quite a while.  Then I dreamt stalker's parents were chasing me for so so so long, awful, and his mother ended up shotting me to death.  bleck.

    I think I deserve a lemon cranberry muffin :(

Heck yes you deserve that muffin! That sounds like an awful dream!!

Pirate got up this morning and came to snuggle with me. Then he urped up a bunch of bile on my shirt. Thanks dog.

Congrats!  That reminded me of Bugs when we taught him to ring a bell to go out.  He would just barely, barely touch it - he still is like that although if he wants to go out to chase a squirrel he bangs it super hard Big Smile

Speaking of the beast he seems better and better each day.  Woke us up at 4:30 this morning - just because - so the gate goes back up tonight.  He's just not suited to sleeping in the room with us or having free roam, he is either asleep or HYPER!

Boring day today.  Going to sign up for a distraction proofing class with the beast. DH is going to put some new windows in FINALLY as the others are in bad shape.

Those really are awful dreams :( Did you eat something funky last night before going to bed?

Weee, I love new windows! Our energy bill went down significantly after ours went in : )

Thinking about the Westminster Dog Show and how it makes me want more Spitz dogs... I used to love the hearding breeds but I deff think I've fallen for the Spitz... I really want either an American Eskimo or Keeshound (BF wants the AEski).

I also am still weirded out by how many Spaniels and Terriors there are. Too many... How come the Spaniels get to have a million different declared variences but Pomeranians can't (for example). Instead my breed just has the Show Dogs, Parti-Pom, Teddy-Pom, Spitz-Pom, ChowChow-Pom, haha. What can't we have declared variences? Spaniels are being show hogs ;o) hehe (just kidding of course)

Also why do they call dogs Terriors then they say "but it's not a terrior" .... ???

And why is every dog called "the lion dog" well if every dog looks like a lion dog maybe its b/c they dont look like a lion they just look like a dog... lol

Show world cracks me up... i've deff got my work cut out for me before I join it!

It's been snowing a lot since last night and still is this morning. Was a pain in the butt to clean off my car. brrrrrrr!

It's bright and beautiful here.  Blue, sunny sky.....and snowing.  Just a delicate, dainty snow, but I don't WANT anymore.  The plow guy got here about 3:30 yesterday morning so I can at least get out if I want to.  DS went out Monday and got stuck twice in his 4x4 truck, so ain't no way the sportage would have gotten out...4x4 or not.  It's so nice to look out the window and see and actual ROAD again.  Some of the drifts were up to my waist, and while I'm not all that tall, I've got a 32 inch inseam (all leg) so up to my waist is a LONG way!

I took the dogs out for a romp yesterday and they all started headed back in after about 20 minutes.  It just wasn't much fun.  The trails were impassible because of the drifts and in the woods, while it isn't as bad, we got stuck a couple times, and I'm not all that fond of having a snow laden branch hit me in the face.  Having to untuck to get the snow out of my bra just doesn't do it for me somehow!  I think that today we'll just go out front and play a good game of fetch in the plowed area.  It's a nice day to get out, but I'm surely not going back in the woods again today.....when the dogs turn around and head for home, that's bad.  Normally they'll stay out for at least an hour.  Maybe we'll try to see if we can get to the field behind us....that might be ok.  The snowmobiles haven't been out much to make paths for us.....I hate the intursion of the darned things, but about now, I'd welcome a path!

And today, I have to try to make some progress on clearing the deck before it decides to collapse.  The danged thing is wide enough for my son to park his truck under and the full length of the house...and that baby is FULL.....up to the top of my legs in some spots.  I'm not looking forward to that back breaking job.

My drive in today was MUCH worse than my drive home in the snow yesterday. Today it was icy but it was black ice and you could not see it, but if you hit your brakes you were toast. I was going 35 (in a 70) and I touched my brakes and just barely missed going into the ditch. I saw cars swerving all over the place all the way in. I only saw one car actually in the ditch though. After I arrived in A2 I heard on the traffic report, at least 7 cars were in the ditch on M-14, by the time I reached the parking structure all the traffic alerts were saying M-14 is EXTREMELY slippery, many cars have slid off the road. I feel lucky.

DH bundled up and took all three dogs out last night. He's a good dad. They really needed it too. Belle's agility was cancelled on Monday so little Teddi is the only dog who has done anything all week. She swam Monday, and she will swim tonight. I am hoping DH will run the older two to the park again before he heads out with Teddi. I am riding then meeting them at the facility.

My boss is trying to schedule an offsite meeting before I head out on vacation. This is not a good plan. Offsites you really need at least half a day, to factor in commuting to the site (no direct busses several changes) and we have obligations each AM the rest of the week. I HAVE to leave a 4PM each day this week I can not be late, and on Friday (best chance) I have to do all my voicemail and email changes. That is not easy with our system, I don't do it often so I have to allow probably half hour or more to figure it out. I don't see why this has to be done NOW. She puts to much stress on the wrong things lately. Oh well I am going on vacation and I am really getting into my "I don't care" vacation mode.

I didn't eat anything odd last night.  I am, however, verrrry irritated right now.  my mother called and told me the Crown's assistant phoned and told her she got in the reasons for the decision to release el creepo.  My mother apparently asked for a copy, but was told no.  Why not?  My mother said *probably* because it's not done yet or soething.  I *know* she didn't pus hfor a reason, and she basically told me to shut my mouth and not call asking for it.  Which I find stupid, which means I am going to call to get a damn copy, I want to know why!

I am so frustrated with this stupid crown.

The drive here this morning would best be described as scary. It was above freezing, but the melting snow and ice combined with rain made for slush all over the roads that hadn't been plowed. It was fine after I got out of my neighborhood for a while, burt then it got bad. However, at that point, it was scary no matter which way I went, and there was no place to turn around, so I figured I would just keep going. Once I got in to NJ, it was fine. Still, there were times I thought, had I been in a car, and not in my Jeep, there was absolutely no way I would have made it through some of the puddles. I also had a few moments of panic thinking my car was going to end up in the Delaware River. Ahh... fun times. Going home should be better at least.

Not sure if I have mentioned this yet, but, my grade from student teaching should be getting changed sometime in the next few days, and then I will be eligible to be certified to teach(due to an error in my favor). Yay!
