What is the weather doing in Chicago?

Just curious...my dad and brother are on a plane back from China landing in Chicago in the next hours or so. Their connecting flight got cancelled and every other flight out to DFW tonight is delayed or cancelled. I was reading that there was a snow advisory but since I don't live there it is hard to really know or get up to date news info since I don't even know which news channel's website to watch.

Anyone got any insight? Just wondering if they will make here tonight or not. The thing that worries me is that they are escorting my brother's fiance's aunt and uncle back from China to family here in DFW, and the aunt and uncle speak no english and read no english or chinese. This should make for an interesting night for them!

Billy lives in central Illinois but said this afternoon it had started to snow again Sarah. How exciting for you to have your brother back! Big Smile

Well they landed safely in Chicago and are still there. They did get through customs with the Chinese aunt and uncle....My brother said he was just really lucky that there were people everywhere they got stopped that could speak chinese and that security was far more difficult to get through than customs. lol!

Their first flight got cancelled and the one they are on now has been delayed. I am just happy to know they are there safely.

And yes, I am excited to have my brother back Big Smile and CAN'T WAIT to hear the stories and see the pics! Taking my dad with him was a pretty gutsy thing really. He is known to be embarrassing and difficult to handle. There should be lots of funny stories to hear!
