    Mindless Chatter Tuesday

     Sorry Jewliee couldn't wait Angry

As if I needed more to feel p*ssy about so far today

Bugs woke us up at 5:30

DH screwed making the coffee so it spilled out all over the floor, cabinets, etc.

The work I did for a reporter for the newspaper basically got unreferenced - OK poorly referenced so the free advertising as payment for my time won't be arriving. Link 1 and Link 2 - I provided the tips for both, no reference to my company and no reference at all on the second story.

Went to walk Bugs and DH decided to join us.  he still lets B pull and then has the audacity to tell me I'm ineffective at  walking him Super Angry as I am trying to get him back to loose leash.

And some better news, Bugsy seems on the mend we're up to soft serve vs. cow pies Smile

Trying to buy my new computer software through the University but it is a major pain. I can't get to the store during work hours (across campus) and they won't take a credit card and send it campus mail. So I my co workers husband works in the building. I have to fax my ID and signed software release to the store, they will call me for the cc # then I have to fax a copy of my ID and a release to my friend's DH, and he can pick it up. Then my co worker will bring it to me the next day at work. Such a hassle but the prices are that much cheaper, about $100 off one of the items.

Took the Teddster swimming again. She has a blast, and this time she did not poop in the pool!

Starting to get down to the nitty gritty in preparing for my vacation. I guess we are really going!

So last night BF and I talked about MOVING!!! :o)

Once he gets his pension and promotion we'll be in a "better place" (lets just say) so therefore we're going to then start saving up money and move the second we can.

    (1) extremely sad to leave New England. I fit in so well with these people, personalities, sports, everything! i love this location and it makes me so heart broken to leave again (b/c that's the whole reason why i moved back) (2) I hate the winter! i hate it hate it hate it! I'm sick of winter jackets and still being cold. that is something i refuse to deal with anymore (3) I'm happy that we will be closer to the "grandparents" for future needs.

So there fore 2 outta 3 says move. but yet #1 is really really big... idk...

I really think that 75% of meeting are a waste of time.  I've been to 2 on this project, and it doesn't feel like we're any closer to being done then we were before the first meeting.  Bottom line after both was that we need to test it before we go any further.  Well, we knew that 3 weeks ago!

Tonight we're gonna play cards with DH's mom's family and get Long John Silver's to go.  That should be good.  BIL might have some homework he'll need help with....have to see about that.

I finally got a good night's sleep last night the first in the past two days and in actually bed instead of the floor. I'm starting to get a sore throat doesn't surprise me since I was outside at times with no coat on at times in this cold weather. Need to start taking some meds soon.

I'm worried right now the roads where really bad this morning so I'm hoping bf got to work fine this morning and that he makes it just as safety ride back come this afternoon especially with no insurance on his truck at this moment plus his truck doesn't like the cold weather that well.  I  hope he slept at his  friend's place and didn't try to spend the night in his truck. I just wish at this time I had a way to get a hold of him I'm about to get him put on my plan even if he doesn't like verizon. At least I'll have a way to reach him to make sure he is safe and is doing ok.

I called off work for today it took my mom a hour to get home from work when it usually takes only 15 minutes to get home. My brother is stuck in a hotel since his truck has no heat at the moment and his windshield was icing back over. Lets just say my boss wasn't too happy that I wasn't going to be there and lied that I had no ride to get to work today. The roads are bad since I've been up for the past 4 hours only 3 cars have went down my street my street isn't that dead it's still freezing rain outside. I don't think that many people are going to be showing up to get their dogs groomed in this stuff nor to get things for their pets. Those that are out in this stuff that have nothing better to do are just plain crazy. We have about 2 inches of snow and lots of ice poor Blue had heck of time trying to get back into the house I had to help him up the steps

I have a few places to call about duplex and apartments that look some what promising. I need to clean my room and get bf's stuff put away then start packing some of my things as well so I'll be half way ready when the time does come to move.

KPwlee - can you tell me a little bit more about what happened with the news article? I know someone who might be able to help if you weren't cited properly. Feel free to PM me.

Luna was such a good girl at agility last night. She hasn't seen any real obsticals in about 6 months, and took a tunnel with a curved entry next to a an A frame (we are in with more experienced dogs). That is by far the hardest thing she has ever done and she just wanted to do more. To top it off, we introduced her to weaves last night -- set really wide -- and she went through them like she does it every day. I am so proud of my girl!

My lesson from last night - each dog is different. Pay close attention to your dog and what they are telling you and set criteria from there - higher or lower.

I know what you mean I'm not to please with him without insurance I've offered to pay for it until he gets on his feet he doesn't want me to do he says I'm paying for enough stuff for him. His first paycheck he is getting I'm making him spend it on insurance and not to worry about paying me back just yet.

jimminy crickets, kpwlee - sounds like a craptastic morning!!

I was up until after 3am this morning, dealing with BF's irresponsible 17yr old nephew who decided to stay at his job until 2:30am- or at least that's when we went and retrieved him.  His shift had ended at 11, but I wasn't surprised he'd stay an extra hour. However, not telling us what was going on, and staying there so long was a bad choice.  He's the one who told us that the place was robbed overnight just a week or so ago... THINK, Boy!  THINK!!!!  Oye!  I was up with tension headache and heartburn.

I am very, very cranky today. I wish we could get that block function already *grumbles*.

It's chilly and wet here, and I wish I could blow off my class tonight, but I've got homework to turn in. Boo. Who's idea was it to have a class that starts at 5:30, so halfway through you're just hungry for dinner and not listening?

    I'm with kwplee. Today stinks.

its only gotten worse - had a big blowup with Chase re credit scam - warning to anyone who uses Chase CC's I have NEVER had a good dealing with them vs Citi and AmEx.  This scam stuff came in the mail yesterday did an internet search and yea its a scam and its already been legally proved in 16 states (NC is one of them) and Chase is often involved. Not bragging but my credit is perfect, every month on time and in full - so in the end I canceled both cards I have with them and unlike others when you say you want to cancel she was like OK.  I'm like do it!  So hopefully one of these was the card in the scam.  This woman was as rude a human as you could run in to!

Bugsy is so ridiculously hungry he caught yet another mole this morning and at lunch caught a dove.  This dog won't go hungry Indifferent   I just gave in and gave him a big bowl of food ( still ground beef, rice and pumpkin) and he has finally settled into a nap.  I totally understand as I am intolerant of hunger!

So the icing on the cake is I came back from a meeting and our internet is down.  Since my business phone is VOIP its down too!

I am surfing on one of our neighbor's unsecured networks - Embarrassed

I've caved and at 4:09 I am having a beer and some chili lemon rice crackers -

    IS IT FRIDAY YET?

    • Gold Top Dog
No, still Tuesday. I'm having girl scout cookies.

Apparently I no longer own an umbrella. Great.

    • Gold Top Dog

What a pain in the behind. I hope you can get everything cleared up. I wish it was Friday!!

Selfish work rant... I'm so annoyed by my co-worker. I just want to scream STOP COUGHING!! Seriously, it's been over a month. She waited two weeks to go to the doctor, then finally went and got some meds for sinus and chest problems (not sure exactly what the problem was). So the meds never really helped, and it's two weeks later again, and she's still coughing. Like every few minutes.

She's leaving for vacation later this week, and on Monday I asked her if she was going to go to the doctor again so she'd feel better before vaca. She said no, it's too expensive. (Our insurance recently changed, we have a $2,000 deductible and they basically don't pay a thing until you use that up.) She also said, oh, I'm taking some of my daughter's penicillin. Nice. Well, that doesn't seem to be helping either.

Besides sounding gross and annoying, I'm more paranoid about germs because I'm pregnant. She's one of those people that has to lick her fingers before she touches any paper, even if there's only one. It's so gross! Ick! I think I'm going to spray disinfectant around the whole office when she's gone.
