new foster beagle (?) puppy - Erica

well.... as mentioned in another post... I have a new foster (again.....) she's a little beagle-type pup. A complete nut, as I refer to her as. She's hysterically funny, spunky, vocal, smart, and affectionate. She's about 6 weeks old now, 5 lbs. Not the greatest pictures, she never stops moving unless she is sleeping... Sleep

She needs a name, any suggestions would be glady welcome =]

And this is Stumpy aka - Trooper. He came in as a stray, with a rubber band embedded in his foot - right where his "ankle" would be. We removed the rubber band, and then his toes started to fall off. (sorry for the graffic mental images here....) So... he has a stump. It's almost completely healed up - and we are getting him a prosetic leg! It's really kinda cool. They came and measured him today. I would take him home for lunch with me, so he and Casey could play. He's got a new foster home (all day this time) so he doesn't come anymore.... but here he is anyways!

We've acutally called her Minnie a few times, but we kinda do that with all the pups - since they somehow usually seem to all be "mini-Casey's"....I think Emmy is too girly for her... she's more of a rough-and-tumble kind of puppy.

Pirate - Casey says he would LOVE to be your best friend! He says he's got a bunch of buddies, but no real best friend since Jeagar left!

Oooo, good. Pirate has a *girl*friend but no best friend either. He sez that Casey has nice loooong ankles and he loves to bitey-face ankles : )

How about Stella? That seems kind of tough.

What about Apple? That's the name of Totti's mother, I like it a lot Wink ... Or Kali, Jana, Nia....?

Anyway, good luck with the names! I always have so many ideas, but when it comes to my dogs, no one would do...

Cuteness! She looks like a Cricket or Sprite to me.

Stump's story (poor guy!) reminds me of my friend's GSD. When he was born, he was a little bit stuck so his momma helped him out by grabbing a back paw. It resulted in a missing middle toe so my friend named him Spock Stick out tongue .

My two year old says her name is 'Gloria'.

I asked her if she wanted to look at puppy pictures (I didn't tell her what the thread was about) and she pointed at the puppers and said 'That one's name is Gloria!' :oP

Thanks for the name ideas! I'll run them by the rest of the family tonight, and hopefully (keeping our paws crossed) liltte pup will have a name!

Pirate - Casey says he is very, very excited to have an ankle-biting best friend! He likes to do it too - like the herding dogs do to the sheep! He thinks it's great fun!
