Just dropped by to say hello!

I'm a newby to this site. I have 3 labs. Two chocolate and one blonde. The 2 chocolate labs are male, Charlie,5 yrs old and Benjarmine, 4yrs.old and Sadie who is 7. These are all great dogs. We found Charlie about a week ago, as his owner was going to put him down because they couldn't keep him, so I took him. Sadie is just great... And so is Ben, who is totally deaf. He is such a sweet heart. I also own horses, so its fun to take the dogs with me up in the mountains. Better not blab on so I won't bore anyone. Just a hello to everyone and looking forward to talking to you all. DJ

Welcome!! Always nice to welcome a newbie.

I gotta ask -- was Ben born deaf or was it a result of surgeries? I had a deaf cocker (and when we took Billy, we actually chose him *because* we thot he was already deaf and since we had experience we could 'handle' it -- but we got the ears healed up instead). But it's always GREAT to have just one more person with hands-on experience with a special needs dog!!

And yep, we gotta have pics!!! please???
