The search for the strongest "stuffie"... (With pics)

I bought this pheasant on sale at the local pet shop a while ago, and it has lasted forever! It seriously is the toughest soft toy I've ever bought -all other stuffies have a life expectancy of about 5 minutes n my house- this has lasted at least 6 months.
It's all material, so there's nothing to destuff, except for a velcro opening in the body which has a squeaker that goes inside it. It has been chewed A LOT, but ut is still in one piece and it still squeaks! (kinda)

    Basil loves it...

I want to get another one (or 5), but of course, I can't find them anywhere. I know the maker has a website but for the life of me can't remember it.

Does anyone know who makes these and where I can get more? I would be forever indebted to whoever can help Smile.

I have no clue who makes it, but I have to say that Basil looks quiet content with her pheasant.

Wow!  There's nothing on the tag, that can give you an idea of where to look?  I know, I just bought Misty a stuffed dog about a week ago and it's already out of submission!  She goes thru them like crazy, but really loves the squeaky inside.  I bought, just a squeaky toy, but it didn't last long either.  It would be great if you find the make, 'cause I would be interested in buying on, to see how it lasts!

Being the responsible dog owner I am, I cut all tags off before I gave the toy to the dogs... Stick out tongue. I'm sure the brand name is something like indestructible dog toys or something, but google will not help me with that.

    Anybody? Help?....

Oh please, let somebody recognize it!  I actually just finished sewing some life into Honor's stuffies today.  She just rips right through them, even her expensive squirrel that she loves to death, and is now sporting multi-colored darns because she can't bear to be parted with it.  I would LOVE to have a stuffie that lasts 6 months!

:::crosses fingers that someone will recognize it:::

Oh I hope someone recognizes it - I know what's it like when they have that "favorite gotta have it where is it" toy !

After reading so many stories like this I now buy 2 or 3 "backups" when Prancer has a favorite.   She has two favorites and I have 4 of one and 3 of the other in the closet for when the two she's playing with have more repairs then original area.

I'm crossing my fingers for you guys too !

I am lucky because toys last for a while in our house.  Belle does have a yellow chick that she looooves to play fetch with.  I buy several so that we will have back-ups.  That is the one thing she will not let the others have.  If they try to get it, she gives the "sound" that says no, don't get that.  They all know that it belongs to Belle and pretty much leave it alone.  Belle is the oldest and this toy is OUR special toy.

Hope you find your special toy.  I was so excited when I found the chick that Belle likes.  It was like a gift for me.

Man I should get one, but then again Teddi would KILL it in no time. She is a stuffie destroyer. She loves pulling out the fluff. I plan to buy her one of the fire hose kind and see if she can kill that. She has killed absolutely everything else. She even tore a tennis ball to pieces.

Bugsy destroys everything completely and quickly - the firehose thing was no different a couple of minutes before I heard my first rip.  I just buy him stuffed toys that are on clearance at Target - you know post Christmas or Easter etc. when it goes to 75 or 90% off.  Then I don't feel so bad.

Try searching for "Dr. Noy's" toys. Rupert has a squirrel like that (with a hole chewed in the bum - poor thing). They're "no stuffing" toys, although they have a pouch with a squeaker inside.

    Glad I could help! Yes

Yay!!! I'm going to order a pheasant.  And Jano, that's the same squirrel that Honor can't bear to be without.  Her squirrel has "surgery stitches" all around the head and left side where she ripped the poor thing.  You'd think that they would want to preserve their best friends! Ginny is THE STUFFY DESTROYER. She turns into a wild thing when I give her one. I will have to try one of these....The longest a stuffy has lasted in my house is 45 seconds, and that was one of the HUGE things I got on sale after Easter last year....I was cleaning up the fluff for half an hour at least haha.....

I am so gutted- no one in NZ sells Dr Noy toys, and it would cost me a ridiculous amount of money to buy them from amazon and get them shipped here Sad. I'm going to have to wait until my trip to LA/Chicago to get some.

I hope the pheasant lasts for a few more months!
