Since the other thread got locked, I wanted to say that this http://www.fairtax.org/site/PageServer is the fair tax plan that I'm in favor of. What I meant was that one of the things I don't like about Obama (and all of the dem candidates in general) is that no one on the left is willing to consider this plan. I actually didn't know Obama had his own plan, I'll be checking that out. I know that Mike Huckabee is one who is in favor of the Fair Tax, however when I checked out his website, I was very disapointed to see the same old family values talk that has dominated the republican agenda for some time now. It's a shame really. I think the dems have the wrong idea about taxes and healthcare, and the reps have the wrong idea about just about every social issue there is.
