They were warning people of the scam, and letting the public know that the Chamber of Commerce has issued a warning. They suggested that people log onto their website, instead, for a list/link to the AKC for reputable breeders. What they SHOULD have done is sent people to local shelters instead and featured adoptable dogs! • sherrida Posted : 4/10/2007 12:54:27 PM they get a "B" for effort...do you think that maybe some people are still under the impression that shelters and the Humane Society, etc  only has  aggressive dogs, mangy looking dogs  or dogs that no one wants. The stereotype of the "pound" conjures up a whole bunch of negative images. That is the place where the "bad" dogs go.   One only has to watch an episode or two of Animal Cops or Animal Precinct on Animal Planet and they would see that one little sign of aggression from a dog and it is,  more often than not, PTS.     It is all about education and some people already think that they are. 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available.
