    Mindless Chatter - Rest Day

I have soooo much to do today but I have a house guest. So, nothing will get done. Oh well.

Yesterday took so much out of me. I had that 8 hr class. Can you imagine spending a Sat sitting in a class room for 8 flipping hours working problems and listening to lecture? God. It was all I could do to stay for the entire day.

My house guest and her dog was at my house when I got home from class. I had to quickly feed all the animals then we ran out the door to go to the agility club party. That was fun. Lots of people and dogs. I got my application to join submitted and we played lots of doggy agility team games, like relay races and such. Neiko was in doggy heaven. From there we went to the pub for dinner and a drink. The place was packed so it took forever. I was so exhausted by the time we got home that I pretty much went right to bed, leaving my house guest to fend for herself.

I just want today to last forever so I don't have to turn around and go right back to work tomorrow.

8 hours in one room? Indifferent I can barely stand 8 hours in one school every day, lol...

Anyway, yesterday I took the dogs to the dog park. Cadie too, this was her second time there and she's getting much braver already. She just kept close to me the majority of the time - she's more into sniffing everything than anything else. Riley likes to play with the other dogs and play fetch with his ball. There was this annoying dog there though, some type of hound mix that kept barking nonstop...seriously, he would just run around barking. Then he kept running up to Riley and the hound nipped him a few times, Riley yelped and started showing his teeth. The hound's owner just kept running after it with the leash saying, "Stop it Puzzles, be a good boy Puzzles!" Tongue Tied

I might go again today, depends on what time we get back from church. I really don't have anything exciting to report lol.

I de-poopified the yard today. Shadow's been enjoying the threads of the wubba he got for Christmas from Secret Santa. I found bits of it in his piles. If a toy can be shredded, he will shred it and usually spit the pieces out. Sometimes, he accidently swallows it. Being soft and pliable, it passes through like so much roughage. I know that sounds ghastly. But he chews on twigs, too. And has killed a couple of birds and a few mice, so it wouldn't be the first time he's swallowed something that I wouldn't like but it passed on through.

Today was great!  I went and watched the new Rambo movie!  I loved it!  It's much better than the second and third Rambo movies.  It was VERY graphic and bloody but I didn't mind.  It was well worth it!  Anyone thinking about going to see it, I seriously recommend it!

Me, too, and my dog rarely uses the backyard for her business - the other two do.  Since it's raining, Jada has been enjoying her attack on the raindrops falling from the roof, but she's a filthy mess.  Considering we just installed a new white armoire in the laundry room and I cleaned the entire house, she has to dry out before she can come in.

Tonight is the airing of the Extreme Makeover Home Edition that my mom and I both worked on back in October.  I doubt either of us will be seen on TV - we just stayed out of the way of the cameras.  Somehow, I managed to be standing next to them filming about 4 different segments, though.  Never saw Ty Pennington myself, just all the male other hosts.  Maybe our employer's banners, or other fellow employees, will make an appearance.  Would be fun to see... (I feel a little nostalgic for NH).

I didn't do much today, just worked. Then I went to get my ezpass. Now, I'm trying to get my junk together and ready to go. I'm taking the midnight train, or rather, it's at 12:48am, to Boston. I can't imagine why I would actually need it, but I feel a strong urge to take my laptop. Not the one I use regularly, but I have a 7" one (the ASUS EEE PC) that I could bring with. However, I there really isn't much of a reason to bring it, as I am coming back tomorrow night. The only thing I can think of is perhaps to charge things, but I have car chargers for that stuff that I can carry with instead. The thing I should bring with maybe is my textbook. I suppose my email can go unchecked for 24 hours, or, if I should get so desperate, I can always go to campus, or a burger king to get on the internet.
