• Is garden lime safe for dogs? Marlo Vicinanza Posted : 4/6/2007 8:30:41 AM Hi - Newbie here with a question.   My dog (1year old Cairn Terrier) spends a lot of time in my parents yard.  My father is having the landscapers come in and do a spring clean up, which including spreading lime on the grass.  Is the lime safe for my dog?
