What's for dinner?

Pasta with lots of garlic, olive oil, zucchini, grape tomatoes, and mozzarella cubes.  Served with French bread and salad.

(Mr. W and I are trying to do at least one or two dinners a week meatless.)

I'm sitting here, at my desk, with peanut butter and nachos.  I can't even begin to imagine what I would eat if I ever got pregnant - LOL!

tonight is our work holiday party which will result in a huge buffet of delicious food, dancing and casino night.  It's good to work at a hotel.

I managed to force down a slice of pizza and a single onion ring.  Not feeling too perky at the moment.  

I have decided, I am going to Deb W.'s house for dinner tonight!  I don't think I will have anything good tonight.  Maybe just a sandwich.

It's takeaway for me.

Careful Gina.  I have heard of those so-called "nutritional values", and I don't hold with 'em!

I like Morningstar Farms bacon (vegetarian - the fake stuff). They look just like Beggin' Strips.

Not sure what's for dinner tonight. Old Mother Hubbard's cupboards are looking pretty bare. I might have to go over to one of your houses.

I made a great beef stew in the crockpot the other night and there's just enough left for dinner tonight. I also bought sourdough garlic bread to go with it and it's taken everything I have not to eat the whole loaf.

I like my bacon crispy also!  Maybe I will make myself a bacon sandwich tonight!! mmmmm

I will be the odd one out and say that both DH and I love our bacon soggy.  You know the kind you get on an all you can eat buffet.  Yeah, we're weird.

We are trying reign in some expenses and are only going to the grocery store once a week and making all meals except one at home (I was shocked to see how much we spent on stupid food purchases because we didn't have anything for dinner at home).  We decide what we are going to have for the whole week, make the list, and buy only those things from the list.  We are getting down to the wire here (we shop on Saturday), so tonight will be boring old grilled chicken, baked sweet potatoes, and salad.  Sigh....I wish I could pick up something exciting,like a pizza!

Oooh, bacon...one of the world's most lovely foods.  I love mine super crispy as well!

Perhaps I'll try to work bacon in tonight!  Today is the first day off that DH and I have had together in three weeks, so we're celebrating by eating out.  Our families gave us a gift card to Steak & Shake, so we'll probably go there.  I looooove their chili!
