    pee spots

We are getting ready to move and have reseeded our back yard.  Lots of dirt and little grass due to 4 dogs using a small area and killing my grass.  Can't help the area bit since I live in the city I am grateful for what area I do have.  However, we are getting ready to list our house and thought it might be a good idea to have some grass in the backyard, so we tilled, raked and reseeded yesterday!  Now, I can walk my dogs a few times a day for exercise and pottying, but I can't do it everytime because I have two small children and I can't leave them home late at night or during naps etc.  Anyway, when the dogs must use the yard what can I do to avoid problems in the future?  I have 4 dogs.  1 large and 1 med sized females, and 1 large and 1 small sized males.  Only one male marks the other goes all in one area, although one of my females marks.  Everyone is healthy (no bladder problems) and fixed.  Any suggestions?

If you pour a bucket over water over where they urinate that will reduce the amount of browning on the grass.   You have to do it immediately or else you'll still burn the area.

Burn Baby Burn! Grass Burns from Dog Urine

We have dead grass circles in areas in our yard.
I did a search to find anything about dog urine killing grass and found this thread.
This is...normal? Ella's urine didn't USED TO kill our grass, but apparently now it does. But only in certain spots. I wonder if she's having to pee in the spot more than once for it to kill the grass.

The less water a dog drinks the more likely the urine will burn the grass. Unfortunately you can only encourage a dog to drink more water, you can't make them. I change & clean my dogs water bowls two to three times a day, I notice that encourages them to drink more. When it's slimy it's just not as appetizing (though tell that to my cats who prefer the dogs bowls to their own)
