You know what the police would do around here if there were a dog habitually running loose causing problems that they couldn't catch. They would shoot it. In fact if that dog were endangering my dogs I would shoot it and be well within my rights under the law.
Well, I kinda skipped alot in this forum, but have gotten a jest of what we're all talking about. But reading this, this is what would happen here to in PA. In fact, I need to renew my gun permit, and after reading some of the incidents that have happened to people here while walking their dogs, I definitely am going to renew, and start carrying again! I wouldn't hesitate to kill a dog, human, or any other animal for that matter who intends me bodily harm as to where I'm fearing for my life!
It sounds from what I read I think, but not sure if I have the right person (gahustle) wants a guard dog, but doesn't think professional training is necessary...feel free to correct me, like I stated, I didn't read all the posts, but I would seriously reconsider that thought. If I had gotten a dog for protection, I would definitely want to have some kind of a professional to help me achieve this. My reasons being, to get the full effect of what I want and expect out of my "watch dog". I would want to make sure, when family comes over, or my kids are around, it's not going to want to protect me from my children running to give me a hug, thinking I'm in danger! Ok, that's it for now, I'm going to keep reading, so I'm not out of the loop.
