(Xeph, I just read your comment on the video.  He got a 95. " 5 Denmark 05-01 Lars Bo Jensen, Jabina Querry 26-06-2000, 88 95 96 UDP 279";)

Hee ^_^ Thanks.  I saw his point score right after I asked the question, LOL

ETA: By the way, I very much see GSD in the dog's build and head, just not the color.  Those certainly aren't chow ears :-p  Now the docked tail, that's certainly interesting, and neither the GSD, nor the Chow Chow have a docked tail.

And Strauss' has one floppy ear, so they didn't completely stand

why say sorry, like i would believe you over a professional vet?  Her mother is a german and dad is Chow.   you both could not see a gsd all day dosnt mean much of anything. Its your opinion but fact that she is a gsd chow mixed.

on top of that she has a small saddle...on her back. Not as much as a pure breed but its there.   My dog also has one floppy ear.   My vet said it might eventually stand but if it dosnt oh well.

pictures from when i had her in th house when she was just a LITTLE...pooch.

This is a video of a dog doing an obedience routine

Does anyone else get tears in their eyes watching that video? Man! That's incredible. Love it!

I dont see any Chow in her :/ Not all Vets are experts on dog breeds, They may know dogs in and out but Im not sure every single one is going to be an expert on genetics and the like.
One of your dogs pictures actually maker her look like she has Dane in her. xD

Another thing I thought I would mention is if she was a CHOW/GSD wouldnt she have fluffy fur, since both breeds have medium/long coats? I knew a dog whoms dad was a Chocolatre Labrador and mother was a Siberian husky, he looked exactly like a husky except his ears were floppy and his bone structure was alittle labbish.

Note** I am not a dog expert, Just a 17 year old like you lol

gahustle, vets are not experts on breed.  They are experts on medicine.  They aren't any more qualified to determine dog breed than a biology professor, IMO.  I have a mixed dog and none of my vets have any good guesses on what he is.  Sure, I write down "Collie/Retriever" on paper, but just because someone guessed that doesn't mean it's what he is, even if it's on his medical records.  Unless one parent was a registered German Shepherd and the other was a registered Chow Chow, no one can know for certain what your mix is.  There very well could be GSD in the mix, but you really cannot bank on breed when you have a mix.  You need to work with what you've got an not assume that the dog will be good at a certain sport because it *might* be partly that breed.

vet seemed confident, and i think id take his word over yours. Enough of that, there is no discussion about what mix she is. I know she is gsd/chow dont even know why i keep going back and forth and reading the comments.

But she has big feet and purple tounge ..chow part i can see anyways im done with that

Not necessarily.  Chow Chows do come in a smooth coated variety

To be fair, my vet was also confident that my 86 pound GSD was too skinny :-p

well i know what breed both the parents are.I know she is a gsd mixed because the person i bought her from still has the mother...the chow belonged to one of her neighbors who has moved

Wow, that sounds like a FINELY bred dog.

    May I remind us....

Your behavior just seems rather trollish, that's all. You don't post anywhere else, and you just seem to want to make trouble. Hopefully you're learning something, because you're sure not contributing a whole lot.

You have to keep your stories straight.  Does your neighbor run this shelter.

Whats up, i am 17year old male. From Georgia, i own a 6month old GSD mixed with Chow. With a docked tail ( dont ask this is how she was when purchased from Shelter) I had her since she was 3months.
