Keep dad out of trouble

    Keep dad out of trouble

Can someone help me keep dad out of trouble?  He did Sophia and I a favor by finally washing our blankets.  Unfortunatly he didnt shake them out before washing them and now the washing machine is full of dog hair (mostly black hair because I shed alot)  Mom will have a fit if she tries doing wash and things come out harrier than they were when they went in.  Dad (being the typical take it apart kind) will probably try to take something apart to clean it out, which could take some of the heat off of Sophia and I for all the dog hair.  I think he should just run a couple empty cycles though.

    Thanks

Tell your dad to wipe out the inside with a couple of wet paper towels, then a couple of dry ones. That will pick up a lot of the hair!

After that, Dad should toss a couple towels in the washer and run them through the rinse cycle.  When he puts them in the dryer be sure he tosses in some dryer sheets to collect the fur.  And tell Dad NEXT time just take your blankies to the laundramat!

I use my vacuum with the hose attachment after every load of doggie bedding.  I know that running an empty washer load would probably do the same thing, but I just hate to waste the water and electricity.  I also use the hose attachment to get all the extra hairs (one's I can't get by hand) from the lint trap.  Then I usually have to vacuum the floor around the washer & dryer...and then I'm all done  [:)]
