    She's such a good dog

I have a new job, at a vet's office. This morning, I took Emma to work, with me, for the first time. She wasn't allowed to stay in the kennel with me, because she's not vaccinated against bordatella or distemper (I'm not sure whether I want to do that or not, but that's a different thread), so she stayed in a kennel in the vet's office. She was *so* good! When I was coming and going, I had her off lead, in the front office area, with me. She was very gentle with the office cats, and left their food and litter alone (they're free fed W/D, what's the point?). She was quiet the entire time we were there, and she was very friendly to everyone. She didn't roar/snap anyone, at all (they were all warned that she's not friendly if she's kenneled, but people don't always heed warnings). She did everything that I asked, plus basic manners on her own. She met lots of new people, and was very, very friendly with everyone.

She just keeps getting better. I don't know that it's possible for her to improve MORE.

I really am proud of her. Today, we went to the beach with my best friend, and her almost year old baby. The baby held Emma's leash, while I asked Emma to "heel" beside me. She didn't tug the baby, once. She's gotten very gentle, and easy to handle.

And they say Jack Russells are too crazy[:D] They haven't MET the owners!
