what do you think american bulldog or boxer?

she looks American to me. many of them now are being bred to look a LOT like boxers. and its possible she is a mix of both..  she looks a little like my Ben...

one way to tell is by the shear bulk of them. Boxers, the ones i've seen, are a bit leggier, bigger chests, and shorter. they have a different physique than Americans.. Americans are built more like rotties in my opinion. 

this dog looks more like a boxer than yours.. and its supposedly a pure bred pedigree Ambull..

well actually in the pics she looks like an American bull dog now that i look at them but in person her head is much smaller more narrow and her legs are quite long and her body is very lean unlike a American bulldog who has a bulky kinda body (i always thought that both boxer and AM bulldogs had wide chests and from what i know AM have wider chest then most boxers i have seen esp Johnson types)  and her fur is unlike a boxer or American bulldog much more like a white lab(i i think thats where her body came from)...but i don't know you can never really tell when it comes to a stray....

She does look like an American bull dog, but in the last two pictures, she looks a lot like our Sammy,who is a yellow lab. The fur looks like a lab's also.  Just my thoughts.

also her coat looks like Kaydees this time of year. there is a kennel (Screaming Eagle) in Alaska that breeds American Bulldogs and they have noted that when winter rolls around their coats thicken up naturally.

still she could be either/or..

either pure bred of a backyard/non profit working line  or   mix of lab/Boxer or lab/American. i knew a lab/American a long time ago and he didnt have the face this ones got... and i knew another one that had the lab coat and tail and the bulldog face. but thats probably due to the genetic card shuffle... no telling what the siblings might look like!

her tail... what i can see of it... looks the same way that Kaydee carries hers when she is just casually walking. 

of course when you get down to bare bones of it.. Boxers and  Ambulls are virtually the same dog but on different paths and from different countries..

looking at the dogs there i can almost assure that you more than likely DONT have that mix  

i'm still leaning towards pure ambull from slip shod breeding lines or lab bulldog. 

 Looks to be an ambull/boxer mix.  That would be an ODD mix though to happen unintentionally.

 She appears to have boxer eyes, but...man, that snout looks like a snout straight off a working/standard american bulldog.
 

 oh i feel so confused i look at her now and she looks like a AMbulldog then i look at her again then she looks like boxer then i look at her again then she looks like a lab mix..lol i just dont know anymore...lol anyways i have good news she recently found a foster home/potential adopter....but thanks everyone for your input it really helps to know the breed of dog for potential adopters so this way we can match up owner with dog.... if anyone is interested in adopting her and live in or near NYS just e-mail me here (since no animal is ever guaranteed a forever home unfortunately)

She looks like a boxer mix to me. My dog Pickles is 50% boxer (her mom was pure boxer) and I am guessing the other half is American Bulldog/Lab mix!!! Your dog looks very similar to my pup! So cute!
