Highway robbery...lol

I have some lighted snowflakes to put on my front shrubbery, and 2 of the flakes are not working. It looked like all the bulbs were burned out and there are about 30 of them on each. So I went out to get some replacement bulbs, and they were 99 cents for 6...one being a flasher which I didn't want. But they had a string of 50 lights priced at 2 for 4 dollars, so guess which one I bought...and pulled the bulbs out of.

Bummer, it still doesn't work, but I am only out 4 dollars instead of 12. Not a big deal in the whole scheme of things, but it annoyed me at the markup.

Maybe I'll go to Michael's and find something else tomorrow!

Oh, I know how you feel! Well, maybe I should say, my husband knows how you feel! LOL He gets so ticked off, when he checks the icicle lights before hanging them outside on the house and when he hangs them, and turns them on a section won't light! OMG, you don't even want to be home! lol Why w/ technology and I know some work this way, but why not all of them, when a light is out, just that light is out, so you know which one to replace! That is crazy!!! It drives you crazy!!! Why don't you just take the lighted snowflakes back and try another, get your money back or can't you? I would! That's why I make him deal w/ the lights...lol I do have bells though, that I need the bigger bulbs for but I need the flashing ones, and I never can find them anywhere! Of course, I've had these bells forever, but I love them! What are ya gonna do? Sigh....
