    Getting Nervous! (Bullymom)

Well, Justin and Madison are set to leave early Sunday morning.  I am getting a little nervous.  That's a long trip to make and Madison is all energy.  I HOPE Justin will be sure to make enough stops for her.  I am also feeling lonely.  Justin has been working 4 hours from home, last week and this week, so I haven't seen him but once.  That was on Sunday and he left out Monday morning.  I will see him Saturday night and then, he'll be gone again, but he is taking Madison with him.  I feel so sad already.  I don't understand why.  I have a mountain of chores to do while they are gone and a birthday party to plan and get ready for but I just cannot seem to get in a better mood.  I am so used to Madison being here with me.  I do not know how I am going to make it.  That sounds pathetic, I know!  The thing that is bothering me worst of all is Madison's birthday in on the 12th and I am not even going to get to see her.  Please tell me that I am over reacting and that I am going to have a good time!!

It's going to be fine! Before you know it, they'll be back and Madison will be wanting her presents. Lol!  It's normal to start to worry now with the day coming up. I'd be worried if you weren't nervous at all.

Smile  You're overreacting, and you're going to have a good time.  Smile

Aw, you will be fine! Enjoy the peace and quite! Take a hot bath, have a glass of wine and snuggle up with the pibbles!

Peyton's birthday is on the 12th too! Happy birthday Madison!

Happy Birthday Peyton!!  I will probably go get my tattoo finished on Sunday.  I wanted to go last week but I had a sinus infection and the doc had me loaded up on antibiotics so I couldn't.  I guess I am just worrying for nothing.  I better stop or my hair will be gray by the time they come back!!

man if only i was in your shoes!!

i am more than ready for a mini vacation from my boys @_@

i know i would miss them, thats normal. when i leave them with someone so i can just make a short trip up the road i cant shake that mommy feeling "Where are my kids???" i always feel like if i let my guard down just once i'll forget them in the grocery store once lol kinda like locking your doors.. an annoying habbit you shouldnt quit..

i agree with everyone else. just keep repeating "She's going to be ok" any time you get antsy. deep breath.. relax... take advantage of that hot bath like someone else said!! get in that tub with some bubbles, read a good book and just chill Big Smile

Isn't that "mommy feeling" weird? If the girls stay the night at Grandmas I always think I hear the baby crying LOL

thats nothing, i SEE them out of the corner of my eye... and that nagging "i forgot to do something" feeling... of course i forgot.. because it wasnt there for me to do!!

I don't think you're overreacting. I think I would feel exactly the same way. But whether you have a good time or not is entirely up to you. I hope you do! I hope you take it as an opportunity to have some much-needed peace and "me-time". Take baths. make your favorite meal and do some of the things you love but can't do when everyone else is around.

Thanks everyone!  I'm sure that everything will be fine.  I just hate that I won't get to see her on her birthday.  I hope Justin will have her a little cake or something.  I also hope that she can make that long trip without too much crying!  I know what that trip is like and I don't plan on making it again!  I am just missing her already!

That's a good thing. Just try to enjoy your alone time (a mini-vacation. I don't care who you are, mom is a full-time job. You never stop caring.) Everything will be just fine. And I'm sure you'll have a few phone calls to carry you through until they get back.

Awww!  Mom, don't worry, she'll be fine and so will you!  Just make sure you call her on her birthday...and sing "happy birthday to her" she'll love that.  I'm sure your hubby will have a cake for her, but if you're afraid he won't ... TELL him!  LOL   Heck you can call her everyday, to wish her sweet dreams, before she goes to bed or whatever.  It's not like you'll have no contact with her.  Don't worry, you'll get those gray hairs and no one wants those...so relax, enjoy your time, get done the things you need done, get lots of rest, all up a couple of girlfriends and hangout, have a few drinks, but RELAX!  You'll see how much time will actually fly by, and you'll be like "wow!  home already? I didn't even get anything done!"  LOL  Good Luck!  And, hey, we're always here, too!

Well, I got a call a few hours ago.  They made it up there in one piece!  DH said that Madison did great on the way up there.  He told me that once they actually arrived at his dad's house, Madison went straight for the animals!  They have a bird, some turtles, and the alligator.  They taped the gator's mouth shut and let Madison "pet" it!  She did get into a touch of trouble with the turtles.  She wanted one of them to come out of it's shell and when it didn't she turned it upside down and started popping it against the floor!!  I know it's not funny but I had to laugh at the picture that came into my head!  I was so glad that she was able to make such a long trip.  I am proud of her!  I told Justin to make sure that they have a little birthday party for her!

Good for you mom!  How old is Madison, by the way?  From the sounds, she must be young.  I meant to ask that in an earlier post, and I guess I forgot.  But, at least they are there safe and sound, so no gray hairs over that!  Now just relax, the rest of the week will go fine!  The turtle thing, actually made me laugh!  They're tough!  They'll survive!  LOL  Glad to hear they arrived safely!  Continue to RELAX!!!
