Juz learning to type wif my big hound paws! I am happies cuz my boyfrenn is back - he is a very handsome pibble who lives next door, his name is Tree! Don't know why his daddy named him Tree. He doezznt look like a tree. He wuz in Richmond wif his daddy's daddy for a bit but now he is backs! We playfights lots, and I always win. I think he lets me win because I am girldog.

 Mommy is doing things in her schools called ex-hams right now. She stares at compooter a lot. I don't know whys - I want to play tug! She no play tug. So I tries to play with kitteh. Kitteh not very good at tug, I wins.

Otto, Crusher here... I believe the majority of the dogs here are spelling Phonetically.  I personally am not that kind of dog.  My stupid sister does.  I like to make myself understood perfectly and I do believe there is just too much room for error when using the other practice.   That said, I do so enjoy catching up with everyone.  It has been quite some time since we had an,"I ate my bed" thread.

Hey..hey hey hey. This is Ripley. I had the best day ever. Frisbee..yeah...I played frisbee...and I ran and barked....bark bark bark....like that. And I went for a ride...and I got in the mud...and I got a bone...and I got a bath....yeah, only the bath part wasn't so good.....yeah...now rub my belly.....

This iz Frostee. We goed to the park. It wuz jus wut Riplee sed. We runned in the mud and got reel dirtee. That iz a gud time. Then we gots a bone. It wuz a raw bone. We nevur had it b for, n we chewed it up. Mom wuz suprized we chewed up the bone n swallud it. She iz fraid we throw up latur, but Dad sed we iz suposed to chew it up n eat it, itz ok. Now we iz reel sleepee.

Blaze: Oh hai everbody! Ai is happi mah mommy finnish hur skool last week so now her can be homes more.  I lubs mommy, I wishes I could be wif her all da time, but she don't fink it would be gud to go to wurk wif her... I dunno why.  She has been talken bout doin' therpy wif me.  I fink et means I go someware and gets pettings, I LUB pettings.  Her also said we can do anoder training class.  I dun know about dis....sometimes I don't like over dogs, but sometimes I dun mind dem.  An Carrol doesn't do teh teachings dere anymoar, so is not as happi place as it was I dun fink.

Dusty:  I dun smell no over doggies.  If dey was der I should be able to smells dem.  Beagle noses can smells everyfing.  I dun smell no over doggies, but I do smells da skworls outside.  I wants to go out and sniffs dem, but it is cold so I dun want to stay out too long an I DONT want ta were da stoopy sweater.  When I come back in I will burrow unner da durty laundry.  Is vewy warm dere...and has many gud smells.

 Yay! i was wunderin when you guys would all come back!   i went to agility last night with my sister tasha.  at the end, we did a short sequence and i got to go first. tasha had to stay laying down and she did!  mom was amazed and so was i.  but when mom gave me my turkey for doing a good job, tasha came trotting over.  she did good though when me and mom took off running up and over the dog walk.

we got baths this last weekend after going to the park!  i love going to the park because we can run and sniff all we want.  it was rainy and cold but we loved it.  mom and dad were all bundled up but we had fun!

mom was saying something about cookies this weekend.  if they're like the cookies she gives us, i can't wait!  she said her sisters are comin' over to help bake so my aunts and uncle will be over.  i like it when they come over because my uncle lays on the floor with us and pets us lots.

hi grady and crusher!  how you boys doin'?  mom says i'm all soft and fluffy cause we got baths this weekend.  mom said i was smelly before that but i thought i smelled just fine.  now i smell fruity and i don't like it.  i'm just waitin' for a time to go find somehting better to roll in.

we went to agility class last night and mom had turkey!!!  it was so very yummy!  and we played with the frisbee which always has yummy stuff in it and i even grabbed it out of mommy's hand.  he he...  then she had one side and i had the other and grabbed on hard and she pulled me a foot across the floor!  that was wierd and i'm not so sure i liked that so next time i didn't hold on so much.

ooo but this weekend we went to the park and i go to run!  and i found a nice stinky puddle to lay in.  my mom and dad always laugh and shake their heads when i lay in puddles.  it feels good!  i don't know why they don't.  but then we got the baths.  that wasn't so fun.  but then we get the dryer thingy and mom pets me all over while the dryer thingy blows my fur dry.  and it's warm too.

Mom, I'm quite confused, why are these dogs speaking in this manner. I've pondered this for awhile and believe they may be attempting to communicate in a secret language that we cannot comprehend. Should I try to infiltrate them and crack the code?

Methinks it has something to do with the simplistic way these dogs view their environment.  Whilst I, a Pharaoh and godlike creature, survey this world as if it were mine to command- which it is mind you, make no mistake.  Mayhaps, Otto and Ollie, we could gather together a few regal beings, such as we are, to conduct an analysis....and even to bend these mortals to our will.  It seems they are maleable creatures at best.  Perhaps I'll even learn to use a clicker.  If only I had opposable thumbs.  Alas, my lament will never be vanquished.
