    aroooooooooooo

LOL Bugsy is completely sacked out asleep on his bed and just howled like no one's business - made me jump so I went over and he looked at me like "wow where did that come from?"

The silent dog speaks - only in his sleep!

Conrad does that every now and again. He's also normally pretty silent, but every now and then out of a dead sleep he'll sit bolt up and start howling and then get really confused about who is making all the racket!

River has done that too.  I don't know if dreamed he heard something and it woke him or if he something he really heard startled him out of his sleep.  All I know is that I didn't hear it and If he does it when I am alone it freaks me out.

Ahhhh!  That's so cute!  I catch Misty ever so often, whining (like) in her sleep.  It cracks me up!  If I would have heard that, though, it probably would have scared the crap out of me!  LOL  My husband was telling me how he stayed up one night and it was really late, and Misty was laying next to him on the floor.  He tried to wake her up, she looked at him, but didn't move.  So he dragged her over to her crate (thank goodness she was already upstairs where her crate was, otherwise, he would have probably had to dragger her upstairs, lol) and he said she was just dead weight.  He's like, she didn't even get up, so I dragged her a little closer, then closer, then finally she was in front of her crate, and decided "ok, I'll get up and go in", and he was like, damn, I'm breathin' heavy, and everything!  She's heavy!!!  LOL  She just like all the other girls in the family..."Daddy, will you carry me to bed?"  LOL

When my old Foxy the Mostlie Sheltie was young he would literally howl with a train or ambulance/fire siren -- but he knew you weren't s'posed to howl or make a lot of noise (we live in the city about 2 blocks from the police station),

So he got so he would howl ... "quietly".  Literally a little arooooooo rather than AROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Then as he got older -- he didn't howl as much outside ... but once in a while while he was dead asleep you would hear this little bitty <<>> that was sooooo quiet.  He was sound asleep but it used to just crack David and I up.
