Coolest Interview Ever Today - Cross your fingers for me! (MissMandy)

So I had an interview today for an Office Manager position with an up-and-coming advertising firm this afternoon. I was so impressed, and am now really hoping that I get an offer!! I would absolutely LOVE to work for this place!

I opened the front door, and was greeted by a herd of three dogs (Major cool points there!). The owner, who I had originally spoken with then came out to greet me. He informed me that they're all dog lovers and they like to bring their dogs in to the office. I have always dreamed that I could bring my dogs to work with me one day - that'd be so perfect for me!!

Everyone including the owner was pretty young and dressed very casually. He said that he's very laid back, and would let me pick my own hours that were convenient for me, and that they enjoy spending a while each day having fun with each other....they even have a Wii in the office, and take mandatory breaks throughout the day. He said that it's really important to him that his employees enjoy their jobs.

Overall, I got a great feeling about the place. I could totally see myself being a part of their office. I WANT THIS JOB!! He said that he's only interviewing three other people, and told me that I had great answers. I intend on sending him a thank-you card tonight.

LOL sounds like Yahoo! when my Mom first started working there.

ETA: Make sure that card has a DOG,....on it. Wink

Wow, that sounds like the dream job...bring your dog to work, work the hours that you want AND play Wii on company time. I'd love it!! I'm sure you did great on the interview too. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you, but I'm betting you'll get the job.

Thanks, everyone! I'm really hoping that this will happen - if it's meant to be, of course. Wink

I don't have a thank-you note with a picture of my boys on it, but I do have a couple thank-you notes with cute scruffy dogs on them, so I think I'll be sending one of those.

Hey I waw a place like this on The Dog Whisperer! If you get the job, and my fingers are crossed for ya, make sure your dog gets along with the owners dog. I saw this episode, and they all thought it was this woman's dog, here it turned out the owners dog was the instigator! Good Luck, that sounds like a cool place to work!

I WANT THIS JOB!!

To hear you describe that job, I want it, too. And I'm not even trained to be an office manager.

But I agree with your boss. You got to have fun on the job. My coworkers and I will cut up all the time.

I really enjoy getting young, new help. They haven't heard my tired old routine before and I have a fresh audience.
