Is she being serious?

She's not the sharpest tool in the shed, that's for sure.

For the longest time, one of my own maxims was to never underestimate the stupidity of your fellow human. But I must say, it's hard for me to determine if she was acting or not.

I sure hope she was acting, if not it boggles my mind that anyone growing up in a modern, western society can be sooooo ignorant about the world around them. Her parents must be so proud! 

I had a sweet classmate of mine, senior year in high school, whom I was helping with a "fill-in-the-map" activity because she.... are you sure you're ready for this?.... couldn't find the PACIFIC OCEAN.

Might I remind you this was while growing up in SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA? 

 what i thought was odd about that episode.... it was supposedly "celebrity are you smarter than a 5th grader". i never heard of this girl in my life. can anyone tell me what movies she has starred in?

Not movies... American Idol if I remember correctly. She didn't win.

High heels don't have laces!

I couldn't even watch the end of it!  Yes I believe she's that stupid!  She's one of those bleached blondes  that give us TRUE blondes a bad name!   Aaarrrggghhh, that was painful!

It may not be she is actually "stupid" but has extremely inefficient memory strategies, specifically for semantic memory (the stuff you learn in school).
