The sign on my front door reads: "This house is maintained for the comfort and safety of my dogs - if you don't like that, go away." Big Smile

The sign is really there, and my dogs are allowed anywhere that they want to go, provided they have earned the privilege by learning the following skills first: sit, lie down, leave it, stay, come (every single time I call).  That way, none of them end up thinking the bed or couch belongs to them.  It belongs to me, and I share it or not as I see fit.  Mostly, I want them up on the couch with me, or the easy chair or the bed.  I always seem to be snuggling with a dog:-))  But, they will get off instantly and willingly if I ask.
