ok. so last sunday i scheduled some time to go see the kennel i was planning on leaving the dogs over christmas. i hate leaving them behind, but i gotta leave the country to renew my visa so i'm just adding some time and going over to germany, so i can see my sister. anyways, so in the morning, when i'm taking the dogs out, i realize moca has the runs. so when i go check on it, i notice there's a bit of blood in it too. oy. so instead of just going to the kennel alone, i called my bf, had him pick me up and take us to the vet (same place that runs teh kennel anyways). so we go and they take blood and attempt a fecal, but because i didnt feed her in the morning they said they couldnt get big enough sample to get a positive test. they said the blood in her poop is probably due to an inflamation of the intestines due to some kind of parasite. the blood test turned up nothing. so they give me some medicine to "sooth" her intestinal tract and send me home. well, actually i went to see the kennel first and was quite impressed. still worried of course, but heck, i dont really have a choice on this one. aaannnyways, so after 2 days, her poops were ok again, so i basically just hoped, that i can make it until friday to take her back to the vet, so that they can take a proper fecal and determine what the problem originally was. but thursday morning i get a surprise. i sleep on the couch during the weeks, and leave the dogs out to snuggle with me. well i was very glad i did that, instead of crating them, cause i wake up to a runny poop surprise. not only that, but when i was done cleaning it up, i see some poop paw prints and in shock realize they aren't leading FROM this accident but TO it. so clean those up one by one and they lead me to even more runny poop. oy. so 30 minutes later, i'm done cleaning up all the poop, send my boss a message that i'll be late for work, and take the dogs to the vet. man... anyways, they found what it was, and gave me some medication. dont ask me. i have no idea WHAT the problem actually is, since they can only tell me in chinese. all i can do is get the medication and make sure to administer it right. anyways, her poop is still a bit mushy, and i hope it'll get better by tomorrow. otherwise i'll take her in again. anyways, just needed to rant a little bit. but i'm sure you've all been there
