    Licking- Possibly OCD?

Indy, my 3 1/2 year old min pin, has developed a new habit, at night, she is under the covers in our bed and starts licking the blankets and sheets. We will wake up to wet spots. If we catch her in the act, she will stop. She also will lick her lip, almost an action a human would make if they need water. I have checked her mouth for any sign of an obstruction or sore, and it looks good. She does have allergies which causes sneezing and watery eyes when the weather changes, but that seems to be going away for the season, along with my own personal allergies. I have checked on this a bit and read that it could be OCD, boardom or even just the taste of detergent or salt from our skin? She doesn't lick anything else and it is only in the middle of the night that she will lick the bedding. Anyone had anything similar to this type of behavior?

     Thanks!

P.S. Here diet has not changed, she has been on Innova her whole life.

I know sometimes licking is characteristic of seizure-y activity in the brain, but if she'll stop on command, then I doubt that's it. Maybe just teach/reinforce a command like 'enough' to get her to stop? You could always call and ask her vet to make sure.

    it probably is her allergies.
