    Well - hhmm - I got fired from that new job (hated it anyway), still . . . .  now I am out looking again.  Bad time too, what with the holidays & lots of people laying-off.

    aww bummer! We had a layoff scare here recently but came thru okay. It's great to see you again...welcome back!

     welcome back and.. sorry and congrats and ..sorry lol i hope you find a great job! and i know what you mean about bad timing... last year my husband was laid off right after new years.. he wasnt back at work two days when the boss called him into the office....

     Welcome back! Sorry about the job not working out. I know what you mean about lay-offs - DH is currently laid off for a week. Sad

    Good luck with the job search. Getting laid off now SUCKS, I know.  I was laid off due to lack of clients (ie work!) in january two years ago, and now I might be in the same boat again. The chat with my boss was like "well, I gotta check the books but we should have enough money if we don't get any more work to get us through January."  Deja vu. The price I pay working 1099 from home.
