Where to get a good rolled leather collar?

Where to get a good rolled leather collar?

I tell you, I've been through quite an ordeal trying to get rolled leather collars for Rakka and Loki. Tojo has one and I absolutely love it. Rakka and Loki have black nylon collars and I find that they leave matts, plus, I prefer the more "invisible" look of a rolled leather collar. I went to every single pet store in town (except Petland, I boycott them) and they either didn't have them or didn't have them in the right size. I tried ordering one for Rakka. I ordered a 16" because the 18" one they had was ever so slightly too big. So, the 16" comes in and it's too small! What can you do? There was no in between size! Not only that, but the D-ring was too small to even put a leash on. What's the point in that? The annoying part was the lady working there was giving me a hard time for not buying it. I told her I wasn't going to buy a collar that didn't fit and, frankly, had a design flaw since I couldn't even attach a leash to it. Then she tried to get me to buy a different collar (not the kind I wanted, looked completely hideous on Rakka). Anyway, I broke down and went to Petland... they had rolled leather collars and they even had ones that fit, but again, the D-ring was too small to attach a leash to. What the heck?! So does anyone know a good place online to get a rolled leather collar with a D-ring big enough for a leash to attach to?

Kenya wears one all the time now.  I also like the "barely there" look.  I originally got it for novice rally competition, since they have to be on a collar and leash at that level, but I wanted it to be as invisible as possible.  I love it and never take it off.  Mine is just a cheap one (probably fake leather) from Pet Supplies Plus.  I'm not sure if they are local or a big chain.  Hers is black, I don't remember what size but she is a small GSD.  I even had to pound another hole in it, and if I pull on it, I can slip it over her head (but she wears a nylon martingale for walks and being in public).  The D-ring could be bigger, but I have a simple fake leather leash from dog.com that I use and it hasn't been a problem.  If I go to the store, I'll see what brand the collar is.  If I had more $$ I probably would have gotten something real leather made by one of those custom leather dog supply sites.

That may seem like a lot, but our dogs all have rolled leather collars, and Charlie had the same one for almost 14 years, Patriot has had his for 8 and Sheila has had hers for 6. They last.

Wow, those are nice!  The Cherrybrook link that someone else posted is for collars and leashes made by Weaver, a high quality brand for a reasonable price. I have two of their rolled leather leashes that I bought at a local store, and I love them! I think I paid about $20.00 for them. I've never tried their collars but I assume they're good too.
